In the cities it's very common to see a dead body pf a dog or cat in the streets.. something we're very Disgusted of.
I've lived here on Siquior for 7 years; my wife and I have rescued 16 dogs that are like our children. We also have around 20 cats give or take. The stray dogs here are out of control and many are diseased. Unfortunately it's always a risk to adopt because they can infect our older dogs.

I feel u about the dog. Yesterday, here in Jeddah, Saudi i just rescued a cat, shes an indoor cat and thrown by her owner, and shes pregnant. A lot of people here in Saudi, throw theis cats in the street when they get tired. Im near to go back home in the Philippines, and i also have 1 cat, im so confused now what to do with the cat i rescued, i cant find anyone to adopt her, shes pregnat, she cant receive vaccines i guess, which is required when u travel. I dont know now what to do with her😢😢😢

I've lived here on Siquior for 7 years; my wife and I have rescued 16 dogs that are like our children. We also have around 20 cats give or take. The stray dogs here are out of control and many are diseased. Unfortunately it's always a risk to adopt because they can infect our older dogs.
About the dog, we have laws that protect them. You can report the owner to the Barangay Hall (look for the Captain).
Maybe its a stray dog. But dogs in siquijor are nice. Stray dogs in cebu and dumaguete are bad.
It belonged to the people in the video and were chained to a gate. I wish I knew earlier what to do though, I am not currently in Siquijor anymore
