We have the same taste in middle grade books it seems! I also was pulled in by dungeon crawler carl! I found it on KU, so I held off on purchasing the book until I knew I liked it. They had the 2nd book there too. I'm with you on wanting to be a bear that just stays warm, cozy, eats and reads. Sounds like perfection. Adding between two fires to my TBR! Great haul!
My son and I read Impossible Creatures. I saw it was a new release here, but we got a copy last year gifted to us from family living in Ireland so it must have come out there first. I love Frankenstein.
I’m so interested in Ronald Malfi’s writing. Come with Me has been on my TBR and your enthusiasm makes me want to read it sooner than later! Have you read Sign Here by Claudia Lux? It has family drama done in such an interesting way. I’m currently also trying to get back into classics and am trying to read Dracula this month 😊. I’m so curious about your thoughts on We Used to Live Here, can’t wait!
