  • Comfort across variable conditions-that was the goal when designing the new Traverse Collection. While your system likely includes clothing for extreme weather and temperature, you’ll probably spend much of your time hunting in mild weather and moderate cold. It’s those conditions where the Traverse products shine-from soft, breathable jackets to fleece-lined bibs to versatile gloves and beanies, the new Traverse Collection brings versatile comfort to every pursuit.

    You guys should checkout the bow spider system and maybe do a video on it! I picked one up from David the owner and developer of it this weekend at a Northwest mountain challenge here in Montana I used it both days on the course and completely fell in love with it! This system is going to be such a game changer for elk and deer hunting! I can now hang my bow on my backpack one handed and take it off one handed!

    How would the traverse compare against the ambiant jacket as far as outer layer, warmth and layering?????

    • @xLoneSoldierx01
      @xLoneSoldierx01 Год назад +1

      This might be the giggest question in the new lines this year. I look forward to hearing.?

    • @BlackOvis
      @BlackOvis  Год назад +1

      The Ambient is not a outer layer. Think of it as a hoody on steroids haha. Are you talking the Traverse hoody or jacket? The hoodie will be very warm, but not perform as well in active situations. The Traverse jacket is going to be more comparable to the Jetstream. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but will block wind, and light moisture. It's a true outer layer.

    so, the gradient and equinox lines have essentially been merged with the traverse?

      Yes with a few changes to the Traverse products.

    Can the traverse jacket be used as an insulating piece under the stratus jacket or would that be too bulky?

    • @kevinw5147
      @kevinw5147 Год назад

      @Jared Genter I have both and I haven't done it but it would be pretty bulky

    • @BlackOvis
      @BlackOvis  Год назад +1

      could be on the bulkier side. An Ambient jacket would be better.

      Update... Did it bow hunting from a saddle on a 20 degree morning. Not as bulky as I thought it would be. Light base layer, fanatic hoody, traverse jacket, stratus jacket. It wasn't bad, a little bulky but still less than piling stuff on trying to stay warm with my old WalMart specials. Once the temp got over 34 degrees I took the traverse off and put the stratus back on... WARM. Still had good range of motion, didn't bind up or restrict movement too much.

      @sebastianstewart6218 2 года назад

      The original traverse is too baggy and loose. I actually tapered mine down myself.
