- One of the big issues with any new vehicle is how little protection there is from the sun. THAT and aesthetics are why tinting is always a MUST for our shop cars. In this episode, we pay a visit to our good friend Tou at @yeloautosports and he knocks out a killer tint job for us in record time!
After that, @corymezzanga verifies 22+ WRX fitment on yet another fan-favorite part: The GrimmSpeed Pitch Stop Mount. We can confirm that these fit up PERFECTLY on the new VB chassis and now shifting feels crisper than ever, even on a nearly new vehicle.

To be honest, we will likely keep those as prototypes. Unfortunately the juice isn't worth the squeeze.

Will the pitch stop mount make the car vibrate like crazy at idle? I had a similar mount on my speed3 and at idle you’d almost get a massage, turn the AC on at idle, forget about it lol. Doesn’t correlate to a nice daily driving feel in my opinion.
Simple answer is no. Our standard pitchstop has 80a durometer urethane bushings that add a slight stiffness to the mount. We also have a race version with 95a urethane bushings which are pretty solid. So depending on what you are looking for we have options.

But why the paint matched fenders?? It doesn’t go with the styling of the car like the black does. It’s a world class rally car. The plastic unpainted fenders give it the rep it deserves… finally. Unlike previous gens.
Double thumbs down here. One for the white that is hideous and one for the paint matched fenders/bumper. Huge LOL sorry guys. I won’t be buying your products from now on.
