DRC needs to get serious and establish a well, disciplined, patriotic strong army for itself. It's a very big country with a big population and richer than both Rwanda and Uganda. You can only blame Rwanda so much, it's been more than 20 years now. That's more than enough time for your army to be battle hardened

Unless the problems Rwandophone people face in eastern drc are solved, I don't think even EAC stand by force will solve it. The DRC government abd its militias like mai mai, fdrl among others should stop violating kinyarwanda speaking people's rights, they Congolese to! Otherwise the so called experts are covering the real cause of the problem in south and north Kivu provinces

The Rwandophones have to go live in Rwanda. There are no Rwandophones in Congo. If you' re Randophones, you have to go live in Rwanda with the dictator Kagame... The World has to require Democracy in Rwanda & Uganda.

Agree...when M23 disarmed in 2013 the war didn't stop either way, it emboldened the Congo government to renege its promise and pursue military adventures instead of honoring its signed agreement with M23.

EAC should ensure the disarmament is permanent, by ensuring that every disarmed group is replaced by well trained, well mannered and well equipped official DRC security forces . DRC should equally ensure economic programs by the country is offered to every nch of their country as per the resources the country has in it budget

DRC conflict is not only East African thorn in the flesh, it is to the entire Africa and how they'll tackle the issue should not bring contradictions in other upcoming security issues in any other African Country.

DRC is a simmering couldron. The matter of the Congolese government's failure to build a military force strong enough to pacify their country, will NOT be addressed by a regional force. The Congolese govn't should recruit adequate manpower, and request training support from neutral countries. Otherwise, the Congo deployments are a waste of time and resources. Is it not possible that Congolese politicians are involved in the country's instability?

What of the other countries? I am sure that there are many benefiting from this with the exception of civilians.
