In this photography vlog, we go to Nara, Japan. We finally get a shot I've been wanting to get here for a long time, as well as a few other places around Nara before we head over to Ise for the rest of the trip.

Love your videos, hate the fact that I was literally at the same places a week before the cherry blossoms... They just arrived later than the forecast said so I missed all the nice spots and they didn't bloom until I was already in Tokyo...

What lens do you use to record these vlogs? You don't seem to be having to stretch your arm out too much and the perspective distortion seems minimal even in the corners; looks like the perfect middle ground.

Beautiful locations. But, as you say, it's all about the light which looked pretty flat that day. I guess the gods of light weren't smiling down on you. Hopefully next time..
