Great shots, well done. Maybe just as side note (also maybe for other visitors/photographers) in Slovenia: Don't just get hooked on classic instagram locations (Ljubljana, lake Bled, Postojna cave, Piran etc), everything it reachable by good hour drive from capital, Ljubljana. There are so many places worth visiting, not just because of nature, but also because of people and authentic experience. East side with Pohorje, Maribor, Goričko, Pomurje, Celje etc, west side with classics as Triglav national park, Soča river, al+ready mentioned lake Bled and Bohinj (i prefer this one, to be honest), Postojna, Piran etc. But then we go more little more specific with southern regions like Kras, Dolenjska, Kočevsko etc and one that i must notice (since it is a place, where i grew up), Bela krajina with Kolpa river, which can be also very good source for photography, especially in upper stream. There, just as some of my personal quick travel tips/directions, if anyone is interested.
Absolutely love this video Mads! Slovenia is such a gem, and being from Croatia, it's like having this incredible neighbor right next door. I've been to Slovenia quite a few times, and places like Bohinj, Mangartsko sedlo, Peričnik and Kranjska gora, Logarska valley, Tolmin gorge and Vintgar gorge and the stunning Soča Valley with Soča river are absolute must-visit destinations. Thanks for showcasing Slovenia's wonders! If you haven't already, consider exploring these gems in your future videos. Happy travels!
To be honest,I find it facinating that "everyone" are so motivated to photograph the same famous scenes and locations as everybody else. Guess I am just different, who have no interest in photographing the scenes that everyone else like to photograp and you have seen x times on the internett. Anyway, nice place and some nice photos! Cheers from Norway
Yes, you can see lots of duplicate photos of the ‘honey pot’ scenes on the internet, but they are not ‘your’ photos. That is why people like to photograph the scene for themselves. I would not like to visit a beautiful place and then paste someone else’s photos into my travel album.
@@petercollins7848 But it still the same spot and if you explore a little, its possible to find a lot of beautiful places just for your self. Exploring is the best part about landscape photography anyway, in my opinion. And Its much more orginal, if you ask me. Anyway, people must do what they ever want to do, but I still dont understand it :)
For me it’s the opposite! I find it really fascinating, how different the photographers approaches, the implementations, and - at the end- the results of one and the same object can be. Love it!
It seems you are only looking at the subject, but an image is the sum of all its parts which means that every image is infinitely variable. This is the meaning of photography.
MAGIC IN THE AIR!!! Mads, you are magical!!!.. I apply the word (magical) and translate my simple perspective... I observe testimony of commitment, dedication, and a lot of work!!! All It's a pack of love!!! Your creation is superb!!! You manage to convey the fragrance experienced in the place and you have the fantastic feat of making us feel like you are on stage!!! Well done, thank you.🙏🙏🙏
Wow, coming from the southern hemisphere, I had no idea how beautiful Slovenia is. Thanks for taking us there Mads, your images are so stunning. Sure were a lot of photographers there, must drive the locals nuts. lol.
Thank You Mads for sharing you images from Slovenia. I never realized how stunningly beautiful this and many areas of the world are because of photographers like you who visit them.
Wow, wow WOW Mads!! What stunning locations and stunnings photos. I very much appreciate all the effort you must have put into this trip and this awesome video! Thanks to you, Slovenia has just jumped up my list of must-see destinations.
In Slovenia ATM getting the winter views in just finished spending the day at kranjska gora pretty happy with the shots I got today it was snowing during our time there so bonus Slovenia is beautiful in winter as it is in summer that's for sure I'm extra lucky as my partner is Slovenian so shes aware of the tourist spots also the hidden gems here
Fantastic. I went to Slovenia in the fall of 2021, more specifically to the Julian Alps and also visited Lake Bled. It's a very beautiful and peaseful country. Not only autumn is a nice period but also winter.
This is my first time watching one of your videos and I must say I enjoyed watching the entire video! Great locations, all of which I know well. I don't take photos like you, but I focus more on ideas for a trip around Slovenia. 🙂 Your tips on how to improve photos and composition are very useful. Thank you! 😃
Thank`s for a great video. I especially like the yellow churche at 11:01. In addition as an alternative I would also try a tighter crop. It may give even more focus on the church and maybe more calmness in the picture.
I've only been a subscriber for a couple weeks, but you are quickly becoming one of my favorite contemporary photographers. Your color palette, and uncomplicated compositions are just sublime. I pause videos often just to enjoy the photos a little longer.
I keep coming back to this post. Truly magical, truly magnificent images, pure poetry. Thank you, Mads, for sharing this glorious photography event! ❤️🙏
Greetings again from Down Under........what a beautiful series of images Mads, I'm blown away! What I really enjoy is your enthusiastic and entertaining commentary - I always play your videos first thing of a morning to set me up for the day 😁 I am so jealous of you, Nigel etc having these places virtually in your backyard and so accessible.
I went to Slovenia during the same time as you, because I saw your Instagram stories. I am glad I did, since i got some of my favorite photos from those places! Thank you Mads!
I have been to Slovenia and it is so beautiful. Yes, I did the Lake Bled photo but it was MY photo of it and I love looking at the photos from that holiday. Slovenia was made for you Mads and your style. All your images turned to gold. Wonderful. ❤
Mads another great video! This country still blows my mind, i've seen the best atmosphere here that compliments almost every scene! thank you for sharing your work and experience with us all ! "EPIC"
Another brilliant video Mads. The conditions were just perfect for you. Loved the drone footage. We went to Postonjna Caves in may and as you say it was amazing. Did you manage to get to Predjama castle as it was amazing too. You captured some amazing image's. Look forward to the next one.
You made my day. I appreciate how you see the world. You can make a popular site uniquely your own. Thank you so much. Also am really enjoying the drone footage. 👍😃😃😃♥️💥
Very beautiful photos and indeed mind blowing. And more than ideal weather conditions. As for the first photo…always carry a large saw in your camera bag. LOL. And yes, same multitask problem here…photography, timelapse, drone…yes difficult.
Just spectacular, Mads! Have always wanted to go to Slovenia, as is so like Austria where my husband is from. Certainly a photographer’s heaven! Everyone will be going after seeing these epic videos!🇦🇺
Amazing! I was on the fence of going to Slovenia and your videos came at the perfect timing, so next week I'm leaving to Slovenia to capture all it's beauty. Can't wait and thanks for the beautiful content!
Mads Mads Mads told you not to show me such awesome pictures now it's just a must and go to Slovenia if I'm going to rob the bank I'm going there ... Just kidding you get me so damn jealous of your awsome pictures just love them
Great video and presentation! I really like the way you share your experience! I'd like to know a few more details about the gear and settings you use. This way, someone can better understand what gear they need for this trip. Again, great work!
Hi John, I make many of these kinds of videos and it'll be too repetitive for the usual watchers of my channel. I cover my gear in my recent video from Ireland :)
I can't either 😊 lovely photos and drone footage. It's amazing how much work goes in to capturing moments that last a fraction of a second. Thankfully for my photos I used to be a hiker and globetrotter so I was there anyway, I just took a camera along for the ride 😂😂😂
Wow! That first image of the church was/is incredible. What dates were you here??? So, for anyone going to this church, you have to park somewhere at the bottom of the hill and walk? Is this a functionally active church now?
In Austria, there is also a castle on the water. Ort Lake Castle, Gmunden The early history of this ancient stronghold is shrouded in myth. It was first mentioned in documents dating from the 11th century and in the course of its long history it was owned by several very powerful families. In 1634 it virtually burnt to the ground and the 17th century reconstruction has been retained almost in its entirety. In the reign of Emperor Leopold I, the castle on the lake came into the possession of the Habsburg family and 80 years later it was purchased by Duke Johann Nepomuk Salvator who had bought the castle on the shore some time earlier. He then changed his name to Johann Ort, calling himself after the two castles. After falling out with the imperial family, he set off on a voyage to South America but never arrived and was presumed dead. Today the two castles joined by a 123 m long wooden bridge.
Slovenia looks like photographer's heaven, especially at autumn. It's on my list now.
Mine too, yeah!
Great shots, well done. Maybe just as side note (also maybe for other visitors/photographers) in Slovenia:

Thanks a lot! I am sure many people will benefit from those tips 😊 - many more places to visit next time I'm in the area 😁
Thanks, I'm right in the middle of planning a trip in May/June.
Slovenia still has many hidden corners for photographers! Greetings from Slovenia.

Does anyone know where the last photo spot is?
Woooow!!!
Epic!
Why your camera keep shooting, was it trying to make focus bracketing?
