Spec's Liquor in Houston TX 4/10/24: ED5 $20, ED8 $23 (I bought, then found your vid), ED12 $37, ED15 $51 (+8% tax). Plan on mostly mixing.
The first rum based drink I had that I loved was an apple and ginger mojito. Since then, cloudy apple juice has always been my go mixer with rum. Goes great with plantation 3 stars
Can’t believe there’s so many 8 fans. I feel like Hamilton blows it out of the water as a sipper and a mixer. Might as well be drinking whiskey because that’s all I taste

ED8 is deffo a restock for me because at 23 EUR from my Dutch supplier (Deslijter) it's a no brainer and as you said it makes a cracking rum and coke. So to answer your question ED8 is 23 EUR and ED12 is 32 EUR this side of the channel. Keep up the good work 👍 I'll now have to try it with sparkling apple juice. 🤔
Hello Steve. In francs the 8 year old is at 34€ and the 12 year old at 47€ but it can be found on the Drametime site in the Netherlands at 34€. It would be interesting to compare 8 years old with Malécon 10 years old for the same price. I only have the 5 year old and 15 year old who are very good too.

Hi Steve, one of my local stores sells ED8 for $26 and ED12 for $35.
Yep, those are the USD prices in my area as well.
A bit late on this one, but I just got a bottle of el dorado 8 for $23 in the midwest (US). ED12 has skyrocketed to $42 (used to be like $32-35) and ED15 is now ~$55.
Steve! The 8y/o pairs wonderfully with dark chocolate! Something like 70% or higher cacao. Try it!
Also, That is really high in price! Here in the states you would probably see it priced in the high $20-$30 mark
Ha yeah... thats probs half the reason ED don't get more love from me these days. There's just "better Rums" at a cheaper price in the UK.
