These opanka construction oxfords have been one of Paul Parkman's signature styles for many years, proving just how timeless they are. This pair is hand-painted for a subtle burnished finish and made from crust leather with precise perforations. It takes two weeks and over fifty individual steps to make a single pair of Paul Parkman shoes, each has to pass the brand's stringent quality standards. Beautiful craftsmanship. Even though I personally didn't like the sole style I am surely impressed about how perfect they'd be for someone who does. Fantastic work.
Several have commented that they found the design less than appealing or complained about the choice of music. Did they even bother to visit Paul's website to see the different styles, of course not. I visited the website and found several that I am interested in purchasing. As for the music, I was interested in the craftsmanship not the choice of music.
Since the time of my comment, I have been in contact with Paul and even ordered changes in one of the designs. Paul made the changes and I must say a delight to work with. I am currently awaiting there delivery. Thank you, Paul!
@Boboiboy@93 They will arrive this next week. I had asked if there could be a couple of changes and Paul said no problem. In the end, for the same price they are custom made. Looking forward to there arrival and ordering more. Thinking about ordering a pair of custom crocodile and suede Oxfords.
@Boboiboy@93 They arrived and I must say I am very well pleased. They are comfortable and required little break-in. I conditioned them and gave them there first mirror shine using Saphir products. The first day I wore them, they received many compliments and after a day of walking my feet were not tired at all. Needless to say I am ordering more from Paul. The shoes that I ordered were the Cap-Toe Double Monkstraps Camel & Light Brown (ID#0457-CML).

Most of these shoes are $450.00 - $650.00. That’s a good price for a pair that fits like a glove. I can only imagine the comfort of putting them on. Yes, it’s a bit pricey, but I bet they’ll last for years!

Something I don't get - surely shoes are not symmetrical, nor are feet, the left and right shoes are a mirror image so I can see that you could use the same pattern turned around to cut both, but I would have thought you would need to use the whole last to get the shape right.

Hi guy... I'm Mr. No-Lie, and I want tell you that, this shoes it's cost more then 1£, I'm correct?....
Beautiful pair of shoes however is he that cheep that he used black electrical tape for the shoelace ends
If I had to bet, I'd say that the electrical tape is only a packaging/shipping method to keep the lace from breaking as the owner of the shoe will have a choice of endpeice he prefers on them.
