I made this cake today - it is just amazing! The flavour of the lemon was just gorgeous both inside the cake and the glazed topping. The vanilla and the lemon flavours go so well together. Plus this was such an easy cake to make once all the ingredients are weighed out. I get everything ready the night before then I can thoroughly enjoy the process. Thank you for sharing this recipe :)

I went out and bought yogurt just so I could make it! It was so moist and delicious. I added frozen raspberries and sliced almonds on top and it was lovely. Definitely add the glaze, it really adds an extra zing of lemon :)
Ok so I made this cake again - this time substituted orange for lemon. As I was using a 9 cup bundt pan I increased the ingredients by 1.5 times - it turned out perfect ! Many thanks Stephanie !

Stephanie, I made it this morning👍. I didn't bother to make the frosting but it tastes good and sweet enough. I used ordinary yogurt instead of Greek. Lighter than a pound cake.
Hi Stephanie, thank you for this recipe. I have to eat GF, so I made this cake substituting the flour for Red Mills GF all purpose flour and added 3/4 tsp of xanthan gum. It turned out perfectly and so delicious. I'd say a true success! Not gritty, dry, crumbly or anything. Thank you. 🇨🇦

That butter versus oil makes total sense. I have two recipes for red velvet cake: one oil and one butter. The oil one is so moist compared to the butter one.

This is one of the easiest and most delicious lemon cakes I've ever made (even without the glaze!) I used more zest (1 lemon + 1 orange) and it was simply fantastic. I cant thank you enough for this recipe ❤
Just made this cake and it came out delicious! Instead of a Lemon, I picked an orange (by mistake I must say as the colour and skin looked similar to our lemons 🙂) so this Orange Yogurt cake was still delicious. Thank you for sharing.
