I made this cake today - it is just amazing! The flavour of the lemon was just gorgeous both inside the cake and the glazed topping. The vanilla and the lemon flavours go so well together. I went out and bought yogurt just so I could make it! It was so moist and delicious. I added frozen raspberries and sliced almonds on top and it was lovely. Definitely add the glaze, it really adds an extra zing of lemon :)

Closest grocery store is 10 miles by boat and the seas are up today...so as I am used to doing, use what I have and I hope it works out. Ok so I made this cake again - this time substituted orange for lemon. As I was using a 9 cup bundt pan I increased the ingredients by 1.5 times - it turned out perfect ! Many thanks Stephanie !

That butter versus oil makes total sense. I have two recipes for red velvet cake: one oil and one butter. The oil one is so moist compared to the butter one.
Tried this recipe with the glaze and it was so yummy! It was moist , sweet and tangy at the same time. The glaze added a nice touch to the flavor of the cake! This recipe is a keeper as is Stephanie 😊😉👍🏽
It looked so good that I couldn't resist and baked it last night. It tasted amazing!!!!!!!!! Oh my God!!!! I am literally obsessing over this cake right now it's so delicious. But mine wasn't flat. It came out of the oven with a dome shape at the top. What could be the reason for that?? But it was evenly and perfectly baked.
A dome shape could be a sign that your oven temperature was too hot. You could buy a free standing oven thermometer to double check your oven's calibration.
I will do it today but I'am gonna be honest with you I will doble the recipe, I always do with your cakes, 1 and 1/2 cups of flour it is a very small cake for me and my guests. Thanks for the recipe, greetings from Turkey 🇹🇷

Hi Stephanie, thank you for this recipe. I have to eat GF, so I made this cake substituting the flour for Red Mills GF all purpose flour and added 3/4 tsp of xanthan gum. It turned out perfectly and so delicious. I'd say a true success! Not gritty, dry, crumbly or anything. Thank you. 🇨🇦

I made this last evening for a family birthday party. I doubled it and put one on top of the other and drizzled the glaze over it. It was a huge hit.

Being that this is a yogurt cake it's something I haven't tried so I couldn't say how well it would work.
