Great Review my friend!! Quick question, how is the tolerances with the upper and lower receiver? Is there any play or slop when mated or does the receiver set have a tight lock up? Keep the reviews coming!
Thank you for watching! The lock up is tight but there is a tiny bit of play between the upper & lower receiver.

If you had to pick 1 super duty or a dd v7 or the ris3
All things being equal & if we’re talking about out of the box features, probably the DD RIS 3 because it’s fully ambidextrous. Now if the SD was fully ambi, I would pick that because it has a better trigger & better furniture (grip & stock).

Is this a Super Duty Mod 1 or the previous model?
Good question. I’m not sure. I think it’s the newer model.
Its is the previous model, the mod 1's do not have the surefire muzzle device.
Sorry, but I have to correct the statement that the military does not use AR 15's. The US DOD most certainly uses AR 15 pattern rifles for pretty much all of their weapons aside from belt felt machine guns. The M4, M4A1, M4 Block II, M4 Block III, MK18 MOD 0, MK18 MOD 1, MK12, M16, M16A1, M16A3, M16A4, and M27 are in fact ALL AR 15 Pattern Rifles. Yes, the names of the rifles do not include "AR15" so you can say they are technically not, but applying that same logic to the civilian market pretty much no rifles are AR 15's including the one your holding in your video. This "The Military Doesn't us AR 15's" sentiment by the Pro 2A community is a huge blunder in our movement, it makes us look like we are being dishonest about the rifles we own and the real reason we own them. I encourage you to not project this myth onto people who do not know that much about firearms (AE the anti-gun movement) as it is easily disproven and will make you look like a liar. Other than that, Cool Video.

Ar15 "pattern" rifle. Unless your military m4 is semiauto only, then it is as he said not an AR15.
Select fire is the difference here. That needs to be explained.
@@MrWhammy being select fire alone does not make it an m4. There are plenty of select fire ar 15s on the civilian market that are not m4's. All m4's in the us military are in fact ar 15's, but not all ar 15's are m4's.

Not a terrible video, but you got a couple things wrong and you left out one very important thing...I think. First off, this rifle comes with a Geissele 2 stage SSA-E-X trigger. Its the best trigger I think Geissele offers. Definitely the most expensive.... and now you can get them individually. You only use to be able to get them with the Super Duty Rifles. Second, you totally left out info on the bolt carrier group. This comes with a very nicely finished BCG and its a Carpenter 158+ steel.....so its a higher tinsel strength and the grain in the steel all run in the same direction, making the bold 5x's as strong as a normal Carpenter 158 bolt. Its also a forged bolt.
I do appreciate everything else in your video and hope to see more of you in my line-up. I'm just now subscribing, so will be following to see what you bring to the table next. Check out the Aimpount Duty. That's what I threw on mine for the time being. Scheel's has it for sub $500.

BTW....Its what you call a Hansen profile barrel. Thinker at the barrel nut amd slowly tapers as you go toward the muzzle. They're my favorite barrel profile as they're very balanced.

AR 15 is only one model of this rifle. Armalite is the only one that can technically call it an AR 15.....because its an Armalite Rifle. Your right though, they're all the same rhing.
