Speaking of which, my opinion on the top 5 non-battle music of Gen3 (judged by the remakes):
1. and 2.: Soaring (Day/Night)
3. Dive
4. Music that would play at most of the water routes if Surf music didn't have priority*
5. Southern Island or gym theme (I'm a bit indecisive on this one)
*That, IMO, is the real issue with Hoenn's water routes. Not how plentiful they are, but rather the Surf music annihilating the soundtrack.

The old man’s laugh in other languages is pretty interesting. I always expected the American haha but it’s always more intense when crow plays. I generally never expected there to be such a huge difference between how we say haha and how others around the world go haha

(no spoilers for TOTK here) the little lake that crow goes to at the start after he gets the tower, the one near magnesis, can legitimately be emptied in TOTK, revealing something, and also the textures are the same in both games even though you can't see it in BOTW.

Got a Switch recently and started playing this. Guardians are kinda terrifying, even if I somehow perfectly parried the beam first try (then failed the next few dozen or so beams…)
Yeah that happened to me when I first played. Parried the first beam perfectly, then failed for a while. Thinking back it felt like the timing window felt larger but it's most likely my imagination lol
Let's just leave it at beginners luck

@@zarnox3071 no I agree the guardian music was the most terrifying thing to hear when I started playing. It takes a lot of practice to parry the shots right too, years of playing and I definitely could use more practice lol. it'll get better :)

Not really possible with a standalone mod AFAIK, but Ice-Hail &co do the job pretty well.
Although, one could probably ASM in an item or rune or similar that can make certain groups of objects phase in and out of existence.

The round donut shaped lake around rito village should be deep as well. I wonder if it is deeper than the east reservoir lake. Tried by dropping big metallic objects and magnesis, to measure how deep the bodies of water are. in fact the east reservoire lake and the lake around the Rito village seemed to be the deepest. Even the ocean is not so deep.
Edit: I see you got Oronini lake covered at the end of this video. So the mystery about how deep it is, is finally unveiled. :D

This subathon ended up being like 3 weeks long. It ended while he was sleeping on the 21st day.
So weird seeing the counter at over 7 hours, it hasn't been over like 4 in over a week, and these days it's usually more like 40 minutes!
You should do this again but look at the cool water related places. Like, the flowers beneath the water in Skull Lake, and the Korok Trees around one of the towers - I think Ridgeland Tower?

The water in lake hylia is higher because the dam broke in Lanayru and water spilled from the east reservoir.
