I was there a couple of times during the summer and I agree it's spotless. New York ain't that clean neither is Toronto. Go to some European cities in Italy for example and it's dirty AF. I would guess it's one of the cleanest. Tokyo or Seoul are probably even cleaner.

Have lived here for nearly a decade and still marvel at the beauty of Chicago's downtown. The lakefront, Mag Mile, Millennium the L tracks, it's all such a joy to walk around.

I was born, raised, and still live in Chicago. I’m 41 now. As you can see from this video, there is no better place to be than downtown Chicago in the summertime.

Chicago is half Irish, half Italian, half Polish, half Chinese, half black, half Puerto Rican and half Mexican.
Those halves are far not equal in quantities, though.
Hardly. Its closer to 1/3rd white. 1/3rd black, and 1/3rd Hispanic, which is mostly Mexican. This arrangement continues to change due to demographics. Hispanics are gaining numbers, aling with Asians. The numbers of blacks continues to decrease. The numbers of Asians is quite small compared to NY, LA, or even Toronto. Chicago at one time had more Jews then it does now. People of Italian descent does not come anywhere near what one encounters in NY, Boston, Philadelphia or NJ in general. NJ is the state with the most people of Italian descent. The numbers of Puerto Ricans is quite small compared to New York's tri state area. Chicago has many folks of eastern European ancestry.
Chicago looks just like I experienced 8 years ago when I went back to visit. I grew up there & left with Kodak in 1988.

I lived in Chicago for a long time and even went to University of Chicago. I left in 2020 but I miss this city so much. despite having the worst mayor in the history of this country and every politician and BLM hell bent on destroying it it still keeps thriving. I love this city so much.
