Riverwalk is just amazing.......have not seen any kind of violence whatsoever, people were very kind to me. I felt so free and happy there.

The cleanliness and organization of this city is unbelievable. Even BGC, the most modern business district in the Philippines can't be compared to this magnificent city. It's one of the most beautiful cities I've seen so far in youtube. 😍
I visited Chicago last July just to see the Riverwalk, and the Lakefront trail . Every few years I visit to catch up with the best city in the USA

This is well planned and awesome city. I visited here as a tourist with family recently and captured wonderful moments on my channel. I was warned by some people before going here. But trust me, I like this city and would like to visit more and more in future during summer. Awesome city 👍

The Chicago Riverwalk is BY FAR the best thing Mayor Rahm Emanuel ever did for this city.
On a side note....thanks for sharing this. We just moved up to the burbs 3 months ago after living downtown for many years. We have a 3.5 yr old boy. For his first 4 summers (18 19 20 21) just me and him would walk all over downtown together and come down to the Riverwalk countless times! Seeing videos like this really does make me think about and miss those times with him very much.
rahm is not the one who did the River Walk. mayor Daley did that.
Can't believe Chicago has never Hosted a Summer Olympic Games. It's such a Beautiful city with a lot of wonderful SKYSCRAPERS and SKYLINE 🏙 The Olympic Federation committee should vote 🗳 and grant the Beautiful, fascinating City of Chicago to host the next Summer Olympic Games after 2028; when Los Angeles will host the 2028 Summer Olympic Games.

Beautiful city
Amazing tour of that beautiful big city. I have a brother there, but I think that not even he has made such a journey. Hopefully one day he can be there and tour that place. I've subscribed to Ur channel, very interesting and the visualization of the video is great, the colors are so clear that it makes you want to visit the city. I think that recording with a very good camera is ideal so that the video, presented on RUclips, becomes very interesting and I think this is Ur case.

I live In Portland Oregon and the water on this river looks a lot better and more clear, than the water on our river downtown the Willamette. I love Portland a lot such a great beautiful city. Yes it’s seen better days but I have confidence we can get it not just back to but better than it was before the pandemic.

It is because of the lake and algae. Chicago made it so it flows inland and not into the lake. The reversal of the river’s flow is considered one of the greatest feats of modern engineering.
So when is the best time to visit Chicago? To me this seems like a great city to go without being overcrowded. Dunno if I could breath in NYC.

Yup, that’s exactly what I thought till I decided to visit one day. It’s been my favorite city ever since. Moving there next year!
@@FoleyNflexi Actually my comment aged poorly, especially when the certain group of teenagers riot a few days ago, beating people, vandalizing, breaking cars and property, and the mayor not even caring and actually encouraging their behavior. So uhh I don't like chicago anymore.

The world is dangerous. As long as you keep your head on a swivel, you should enjoy Chicago as it is in this video
Chicago does have some corrupt politicians for sure. But for the most part historically they have used heir power to benefit the city. The reason it is clean is because the leaders demand it and they have the power to make it happen. under Dick Daily Chicago was called the city that works, because it worked and he had to power to make it work!

Yes. But nothing compares to Chicago's.
If you’re looking for videos on it there are quite of few here on RUclips but it’s small compared to Chicago’s. I live in San Antonio I will say the Riverwalk here looks more natural because you have more trees, but I like this very urban look as well.
