Ep375 NEW Black Series REVEALS - Starkiller, Vader, mando and R4!

Today Hasbro revealed 4 "new" Black Series figures just before their upcoming 1027 Pulse Premium event. Here are some of my thoughts. Let me know yours down in the comments. Thank you all for watching.

Nice. It would be nice, if they confirmed that Galen Marek and Marrok are one and the same. Vader was posing like he was ready to either duel or Disco dance.

At 1:21 The reason it says Legends on the Box is most likely because Starkiller was a Legends character meaning that he wasn't canon.

But does that not apply to few other gaming characters that we have in the line? They don't have that tag on their box.

I’ll buy the Vader just to have the box for mural display. What else do we have from New Hope in Galaxy boxes… ? Walrus Man and Dr E for sure. And…. Was there a Leia as box #1? Can’t remember, and I’m away from home at the moment so I can’t look.

the 2 mandos are different, there is the mine version with the plastic cape and the second version with the fabric cae and its jetpack. This is not a reversal of a decision but just 2 different versions

Rant comment:
With the international archive release AND the "A-List" release of the same ANH figure of Vader, I'm honestly lost for words. While the mural art is wonderful (it's literally perfect), the figure is still not accurate in several aspects AND it is in great need of an all-new tooling. The legs are no longer sufficient and the horizontal hinges are a step backward from Duel's End Vader. New collectors and consumers deserve a modern ANH Vader, not a 6-7 years-old figure with 9-10 years-old legs. And at $40CAD for a TBS figure that is being released for the 6th time (Carded 40th with base, Carded 40th, Red Box, Kenobi, International Archive, "Greatest Hits" in Galaxy Packaging), I expect more and better. I would have welcomed a modern ANH Vader for myself. And with all the exclusivity and restrictions depending on which store, preventing me from even getting the Duel's End version under $50CAD (Toys'R'Us gets the Target exclusives with inflated prices), maybe it's time for me to move away from TBS.
It has convinced me to secure a preorder on the SHF Kenobi Vader on AmiAmi TODAY. I'm ready to take the hit and see if the potential is truly there.

I would say, if you can, for the main characters it would be best to go with SHF and TBS will fill up all the rest that Bandai doesn't give us.
