Most KOs are remolds or their runs are sporadic. Sometimes they're factory seconds/rejects, too. These CT figs are as if they got the original MAFEX molds, paint masks, tampo processes, etc. How does that even happen?

They need to change the look of the packaging that would help keeping the marvel heat off there back . I was shocked at how awesome the wolverine turned it would be a big game changer if they included the brown and yellow claws in the tiger stripe one the only thing that was a minor tiff I had was the head on my wolverine was the head is loose any one have a tip or trick to get it tighter ?? But yeah I’m a fan of what CT Toys is doing the Mafex and SH figures are way over priced imports so CT Toys is giving fans the opportunity to own a well made Bootleg to own for a great price . Well if these companies would take more control over the scalping issue and make their reissues more accessible for paying customers we wouldn’t need to find alternatives. Maybe if they spent that money and energy on fixing these problems instead of suing smaller companies, these smaller companies wouldn’t need to be sued in the first place.

They are a bootlegger and get what they deserve. If they want to make Marvel figures, they should get a license and not copy someone else's homework.

I think the term ' bootleg ' should stick. These companies are unlicensed, unauthorized versions. No matter how good they are. Beyond that I buy them 😂❤

Many people would have gladly bought a 138 Wolverine from MAFEX for retail instead of the $500+ charged on evilBay. Why did they leave the window so wide open for CT Toys? 🤔

I finally received Agent Venom, and not particularly impressed. A mix of loose and overly stiff joints with sloppy paint. Waiting for Wolverine. Hopefully that's better.

I don't think that Batman figure would be as successful as the other X Men like Gambit, Magneto, Cyclops, etc (Mafex), and yes, bootlegs are very popular in the world, maybe not in USA, and maybe that's gonna change also, unless Mafex figures cost as the CT ones, i remember buying Saint Seiya bootleg figures in the 90s, as well as Bandai's ones, and the bootlegs were practically identical, CHRISTUS VINCIT, CHRISTUS IMPERAT. they should be fine. there have been so many bootlegs and knockoffs of so many things that have come from china for ages. from cheap items, to expensive luxury goods

They are made an amazing job , I had the brown suit Wolverine and black suit Spider, I hope that CT Toys continue and give the collector an option, to get a good figure with a fair price.

Lets not spread false information. Who ever said KO is legal in China? Just because they are available, it does not mean it is illegal. I have covered videos on my channel on how huge companies like Square Enix made action that counter react manufacturer that made non licensed product of IPs by SE.

This video is a sheer contrats to MCUcolletor he did a review on the CT toys miles morales and spent the first 3 mins just shitting on ct toys and saying if you want to have an athentic collection then just spent the hundreds of dollars and the orignal instead.

Competition is great! CT is staring to beat MAFEX at their own game. I really love my MAFEX collection and the quality of most of the figures is fantastic (Looking at you, DD), but damn aren't they fucking expensive. Feels like a marketing scheme... putting value on low cost items by raising the prices astronomically. Oldest trick in the book.

Bootlegs aren't legal in China. They just dont tend to enforce it as much. Bandai famously had the Chinese police raid a factory that was making bootleg gundam kits. People went to jail, and Bandai had the molds destoryed. Disney is a lot more savage than Bandai. They went as far as to send a cease and desist to my school for pictures of a Dinsyland trip in the yearbook.

These never go away. If anything they rebrand, and use funky naming and then pop up even harder than ever.

I hope they do a mafex daredevil later next year. Personally, if you consider PPP(Purchasing Power Parity), the original figure price is worth 1/5 of my salary as a new graduate, so cheaper options like CT toys are actually as expensive for me as buying the original for people in countries with higher PPP in regards to the dollar. So CT is the genuine product for me😂.

Why are people testing toys for lead? lol lead is like the least to worry about the toxic stuff is called plasticizers commonly mixed with pvc figures. The chemicals are called phthalates an endocrine disruptor know to cause cancer.. every company that makes pvc figures use this chemical to make the pvc soft and flexible. So like essentially the bootleg will contain phthalates if it is a copy of a figure that contains a lot of PVC parts like Hasbro products.. that stuff in the manufacturing process

Bootleg is definitely not legal in China, its just they don’t pursuit prosecution activity unless a company is pressuring the Chinese government. A pretty popular gundam bootleg company was convicted couple years ago.
