sorry to be offtopic but does anybody know of a method to get back into an Instagram account? I stupidly lost the account password. I appreciate any help you can give me.
As mentioned in many posts, my car had two more philips clips under the headlights. You can't access them because of the headlights, and you can't remove the headlights because of the clips. I used a small wood chisel and a hammer. Stuck the chisel in the crack under the headlight and under the edge of the clip and hammered gently to shear off the head. I figured since many cars don't even have these, they aren't necessary. I didn't replace them. Everything worked out fine. THanks fof the video.
(1996 Accord LX) Yeah how the hell are you supposed to deal with those in any sensible manner. Seems like you are supposed to take the whole bumper and shock absorber out first if you want to get to the headlights
You make it look so easy! haha I can't wait to do this on my 1994 Accord. I wish there was a video of the same car to install the old bumpers to the new ones from the rear and sides.
Thanks for watching. We'll keep this request in mind in the event that we need to make this repair in the future. Have a great day! 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
This video will show you how to replace the bumper cover on your Honda Accord. If you click on the link in the video, you will be taken to them on our website 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
@danielito405 Yes, admittedly those were not on our car and I did not realize it. I believe you can either get them from underneath or remove the parking lights to get to them.

Sweet, just like most other bumpers from the '90s. I've taken the bumper of my '99 Grand Cherokee, and my '98 Integra. Now I have to take the bumper off my '97 Accord and just wanted to verify the process was the same. Great, thank you. Great video.
Yeah, it would be great if you explained how to remove the headlights to get those last clips. I attempted to get the front bumper off after my girl almost entirely ripped it off yesterday. Every plastic screw except the ones under the headlights were broken. I ended up just going Formula Drift style and tiewrapped the heck out of the bumper to get it nice and secure.
You guys have the best automotive directions on RUclips. I replaced a window regulator and motor on a 96 Camry with your directions. Could you please do a video on replacing the bumper cover on the previous generation Honda Accord, 90-93 CB7
@bigmacsa You could try to. On our car in the video there weren't any screws under the main beams. Some people have them there, some seem to not have any.
@aformofgeorge HI, thank you for checking out website. We currently do not carry bumpers. You could try Craigs List, or possibly your local salvage yard.
@jimbonez719 We currently do not have an auto repair video that shows this repair on that particular car. Some of the mounting methods may be different.
We currently do not have an auto repair video that shows you how to replace the rear bumper. If you have a Haynes auto repair manual it may tell you how to remove it on your vehicle.

@LaSexyBofa The screws that we took out with the Phillips were Honda screws. What you could do is go to your local Honda dealer, and ask the parts counter guy if he can look up what screws you needed. That way you would have all of the correct screws to place the bumper cover back on. They usually aren't a whole lot of money.
I'm doing an SRS repair, and replacing the damaged parts on the front end of a 97 Accord. This includes the left headlight assembly and corner marker, as well as the left corner marker, and the bumper skin. Somehow, the factory got those inserts underneath the headlight. I noticed in this vid they were a "deleted" part. I'm supposing I'm going to have to hack at it to get the skin off, then pull both headlights and remove them..
My 1996 Accord is different. There are screws under the headlights holding the cover on. I can't get to them. I was told to remove the turn signal lamp in the bumper, but I can't get it to release. Evidently, they changed the design during the car's production, because my grille wasn't even bolted in like the one in the video.
I have a 96 accord, the front bumer has never been taken off, question is; how do u remove the two plastic screws that are directly underneath the headlights? There is two on each side. The car in this video should of had them but it doesnt show. Could u help me? Thx
What size are the plugs used to hold the bumper in place? I believe you used 5.... The ones you put in on 5:33 and the screws on 6:13...../ I bought a car with no bumper and I dont know what both of these are called...... Thanks!!!!!!!
How your bumper is it's like flush against the head light my right side one kinda sags not really bad but a little bit do u know what that mean or if it's just like that. The other side is good tho.
We currently do not have an auto repair video that covers this particular repair. We will keep this request in mind in the event that we need to make this repair in the future. 1aauto.com +josh revier
hey man where do u get those pop screws from?? I bought a old Honda and im restoring it...but the dang screws were so old they broke :/ if you have any idea hit me up thank!
This is the wrong way to remove the bumper. Remove the two 8mm bolts near the tires, then remove the front turn signal and then remove the 4 bolts behind the turn signals holding the bumper to the front of the frame/body. Much less work to do it the right way.
+TheLazyHalfSRanch Thank you for checking us out. The body will be wider on a V6 model compared to the 4 cylinder model making the bolt orientation different. 1aauto.com
@1aauto i lost the bumper to a tree and need to replace it i wen to the site but could't fine the bumper ...my car is Honda Accord 1995 lx can u help me?
This guy Forgot to tell about the 2 screws UNDER EACH of THE HEADLIGHTS. You have to remove the entire headlight assembly, on each side to reach the screws.
Usually they do, yes. That's the 5th generation Accord which ran from 1994 to 1997 with few changes to body style. Thanks for checking out the video! 1aauto.com 866-403-3393
I just attempted this today on my '95 Accord. So, those five plastic screw pop fasteners that he mentions. Guess what? There are two more under each headlight. I tore the bumper plastic on one side around two of them while pulling the bumper cap, and then I stopped and did more research. I gave up because I ran out of daylight. I'll probably shear the other two off with a chisel like one commenter did. I'm sorry, but these instructions are fundamentally flawed.
If your Accord bumper has screws under the headlights, then follow the instructions at this link: ruclips.net/video/cj748XlRWKI/видео.html So much easier!

Dude I'm running into the same problem and I feel like a literal idiot.

@bigmacsa You may want to have an auto body shop take a look at it for you to see if the frame or front clip needs to be straightened out.
@mobiledjdennisYou can buy screws and fasteners at a hardware store that will work. See if you can save any of your old ones to compare them to.
@jimbonez719 We currently do not have an auto repair video that shows this repair on that particular car. Some of the mounting methods may be different.
You may be able to adjust it up or down by loosening the screws a little bit.
@jgq85 The basics should be similar, but some of the removal process may be different as far as screws and fastening point being in different spots.
We currently do not have an auto repair video that shows you how to replace the rear bumper. If you have a Haynes auto repair manual it may tell you how to remove it on your vehicle.
Did anyone notice the turn signals?? Great video. Took of my integra bumper after I saw this video. Different but helpful
@asiangunner901 you could try to put some penetrating oil on those screws if they are rusted in place.
@carliux99 You should replace it as it will help to keep the form of the bumper cover.
You all saved me. I got hit by a hit and run driver so I have to pay for this repair myself.
@Lily2Susan Honestly have not pulled a 1998 so I can't say for sure but the procedure should be similar.
Perfect, exactly what I needed to know. Thanks!
+Joseph MacNeil Thanks for watching. 1aauto.com
There's two clips that hold the bumper cover under each of the headlights, how did you remove those?
The car that we shot the video on didn't have any under the headlight. So we were able to remove the bumper cover first and then the headlights.
At this point in time we are working on other videos but we will take this into consideration for a video later on.
@fastdunn No Problem
