The bus looks great! Good job on making this vlog!
Nice video, Steven. That bus looked like a comfortable way to travel, especially if you are not in a hurry.
😍👍
Hello and greetings from VN. Should I go Transtar Terminal or go to Golden Mile Complex to take the coach going to KL? Thanks in advance.
Hey! It all depends where your trip starts on the itinerary. If your trip departs from Golden Mile Complex, you should take the coach from Golden Mile Complex.
Hi, may I ask how long you took from SG TO KL?
It was nearly 5 hours.
The bus departed at 9.30am from Golden Mile Complex. I reached TBS in KL at around 3.20pm.
do they check the luggage weight ?
Hi! No, they didn't check the weight. 😊
How to book
Hey! I did the booking with Easybook.com. You should be able to find multiple timings available on the platform.
Try to filter by bus companies to shortlist the offerings quickly. 👍🏻
Ticket price?
I paid $60 one way for this luxury coach up to Kuala Lumpur from Singapore. You can use Easybook to book this.
Twice the airfare, long journey, troublesome immigration and custom. Worth it.?
I did a quick search and the cheapest flights departing from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur will set you back about $68 right now. It is cheaper on the way back for sure. The price of this coach is definitely cheaper than flying going up to Kuala Lumpur.
It can be feel long on the coach but if you look at flying, you are going to spend about 4 hours or more (1 hour at the airport, 1 hour flying, 0.5 hour immigration, 0.5 hour into town). This is taken into consider the best condition at immigration and KLIA Express/traffic which doesn't seem to happen at all.
The immigration and customs part is the one I detest because you're getting down and up (a few times) on the way back to Singapore from Kuala Lumpur but not the way there so its still okay.
Overall, is it worth it? For me, yes.
Side note: I will try my best to avoid taking the coach on the weekends and public holidays.
Got toilet on the bus
Hey, nope. There isn’t any on this bus.
