- Angron is back this week! This time I'm sharing how I painted the base. As always this gives me ideas and I'm fantasizing about an army made of all casualties. Time will tell... I'm happy with where this is sitting, there are small tweaks to make but I'll have to wait until more of the model is painted and attached for that final balances. Enjoy!

The base alone looks amazing. Can’t wait to see the “Red Angel” towering over it! Looking smooooth
Coming soon!
Best Ninjon Cameo. Thanks for the vid Sam. I really like the side by side where youre doing one element at two points in time.
haha, gotta milk having Ninjon stored in the other room. Glad you enjoy the split screen, it's been divisive. All constructive criticism but it's a split topic, no pun intended.
Man the bases for competition could be their own category fr. Just your base alone is better than any model Iv ever painted. Stuff like this really seperates your casual amateur painter from the pros. Thanks for the the very eye opening video Sam! I really took some great personal feedback from this one on not only how I can improve my bases but at the very least improve my models enough to get to a compettion base level lol
I'm happy to read this, thanks man! Basing is one of my favored areas of the process. More to come!
5:35 A four sided triangle : This is pure chaos .
Haha, and on we go, into the void!
Damn, that base alone looks outstanding!
Thanks!
Loved the multiple shots pulled together. Excellence!
Glad you liked it!
10:09 That was hilarious, Thanks Angron...
You are an amazing painter, and have way more skill and knowledge about this hobby than I. I would, however, like to make a suggestion... The fact that the sentinel is somewhat buried in the dirt suggests that it may have been there a while. This leads me to think that at least some of the rust streaks should be vertical to it's current orientation, not only it's normal stance. But maybe this is a desert environment and the rust streaks are old? I dunno. Just putting it out there.
love the pace in the editing of this video. tight, informative and entertaining. Once you unlock the power of good audio you'll be unstoppable, Sam!!! great job
Thanks man! I upgraded my mic recently and it's good now. Cheers!
Soooo good looking. You always make everything so easy looking. But it always inspires and makes us want to try them out. Cheers
Always trying to get a little better but enjoying the journey is the way :)
Outstanding work. Thx man.
Thank you!
really cool!
Glad you enjoyed it!
did you make a video on how you assembled this base? i love it way more than Ron's regular rock
Not on this one, but thanks!
The Main Man is back 🤘
Cheers, buddy!
WAR IS HAMMER!
😂 ninjon cameo
What happened to the rest of guardsman? He's okay, right?
Yeah, he's just playing possum ;)
Are you using a retarder in paints you are wetblending or something to extend the drying time? Or do you add more paint that normal so it stays wet longer? Sorry, relatively new paineter, if this is a super basic question.
No problem! It's a good question. I'm not using anything besides water and heavy amounts of paint. Check out my video, Wetblending Mastery for a breakdown of that technique. Cheers!
Can't wait for more ... nothing!
Awrooo!
Ah yes part 2 three weeks after part 3
