@@Tims_Projects You should try and see if you can install “Chopin script” I used it a LOT when I had my tattoo shop, it tends to work for almost every occasion for scripts, then I think Cloister something was another one that was popular.
It is impressive, especially because of the design being done in FreeCAD.

build a stand for your cam x your paper on table and set your focus on it ,, and you move the item to it .for i feel you use the cam often . subscribed,

The main cam on a stand is my phone, normally it is set on the overhead stand I made.
With this Item (my plotter) if I had placed the camera above, you would not be able to see the plotter printing, I tried it. I put it at this angle to get the best view, while it was plotting.
The other issue I had was, I am old (un fit), my arms get tired easily, holding it up close to the camera for long periods in its new position was hard for me.
As I had the ESP32-CAM I used that for the close up.
