- Indonesian carrier Lion Air has received its first A330-900, becoming the first airline from the Asia-Pacific region to fly the A330neo. The aircraft is on lease from BOC Aviation and is the first of 10 A330neos set to join the airline’s fleet. More info: fly.airbus.com/2Y3NrWm

as a frequent flyer in Indonesia, i believe Lion Air has so much potential to be a great airline, even better than Indonesia’s flag carrier Garuda Indonesia, Lion has newer aircrafts while Garuda is still using such old aircrafts. If you compare the price between Lion Air and Garuda i can already tell Lion wins in this category, their OTP (On Time Performance) has significantly improved. Service Improvement will be very appreciated

I believe Lion can't beat Garuda because it is Lion Group LCC, but if you want Lion Group to be better than Garuda they can improve the service of Batik because it is Lion Group full service airlines

Still waiting Indonesian first A380 or A350 series. But still happy with this Lion's purchase decision.
Actually there will be no more A380s. But maybe A350s.
I think Lion will never buying A350 series because their B744 replaced with this A330neo.
The last customer for a380 is ANA.
The A380 is unlikely given what Malaysian Airlines have done with theirs. The A350 seems possible but so is the Boeing 777X.
