...And Justice For All, my all time favorite Metallica song and album. Wish they would play more from this album or the whole thing in its entirety some day.
I agree with James, some songs were made to be played with the specifical guitar: -Flying V is for the fastest ones: htl, battery, ffwf, dyers eve, blackened, frantic, apocalypse, etc -Explorer is for the longest ones, ajfa, master, sanitarium, fade, one, rtl, etc -Les Paul is for nem, load and reload bluesy songs, etc -Startocaster, well i liked it when they played UNF2 at MTV Awards back in the 90's.
Michael Angelo H., they’re damn right to call him a riff Master. Anyone who can write stuff like ...And Justice For All is a certified riff master in my book.
I know that you guys probably don't read RUclips comments, but I want to thank you for all the great music you've put out over the years. Thank you for all the metal. Thank you, Metallica.
never performed, nor wrote, nor in any way could my life be considered as a member of the performing arts. This video educated me about how difficult it is to get ready to perform live on stage. Lots of work. I like it.
LOVE how the low end makes the camera's tremble throughout the video. Something the soundboard recordings can never reproduce... the power of a band's live amplification.
being a guitar player myself, i know how hard it is to play on a bass guitar, and watching trujilo lead them on blackened...you just know he's a great bass player
He would love it. According to his father and those who knew him best, Cliff liked the widest range of music. When they first met he used to bring classical records for James and them to listen. Hell, look at him. He dressed like he was in Lynyrd Skynyrd. His favorite bands were Sabbath and Thin Lizzy but was also a huge R.E.M and Pink Floyd fan.
The most accessible band there is. It feels as if Metallica has a camera on them 20 hours a day. They really want their fans to have insight into their musical journey. I sure do appreciate it, there is a honesty to it and really shows how human they are and generous to give us all that opportunity to witness it for free 🤟❤
Guys I want to point out something: this must be like probably 8 or 9 in the morning. I was at this gig. Never saw these guys do a soundcheck. Just make the point to say- 'Hey, these guys do work a full day.'
Angelos Theoharis probably because the snakebyte is his design and signature, he has them in alot of different finishes too. I think he pulls the original out every once in a while though, definitely in the studio. Idk about live though.
im only 17 but I own every album and I know that during the 90's they didn't "sell out" they just changed sound and experimented. I know a lot about Metallica there the first band I totally fell in love with but my friends say since I wasn't born in the 80's I can't be a true fan. your opinion?
“By the time we made and justice for all, we were buying new guitars” Lol I’ll say, remember when James saw his pay stub for the first time after the Black Album tour?
A B Bikes Cars N’ Guitars did you see the episode here on RUclips when they played somewhere in England in like 93 or something, they filmed their accountant working out the $$ after they paid everyone their wage they still made an absolute killing !! The amount was ridiculous !

Hearing Rob's bass just makes the Justice album songs sound even more badass and heavy. I love it!!
James voice is freaking fantastic here.
I still miss his voice on the album do
the bass was so strong during the intro it shook the camera
Nice yt channel name.. lol
Headphones sounds cool
I think a lot of people dont realise how much Hetfield contributed to the heavy metal riff.
Michael Angelo H., they’re damn right to call him a riff Master. Anyone who can write stuff like ...And Justice For All is a certified riff master in my book.
Hetfield is THE master of rhythm
@@Iheartdgd Rhythm 'Em All
Ride the Rhythm
Master of Rhythms
And Rhythm for All
The Rhythm Album
😂
Totally agreed but of the ones that realize that some of those people need to understand how inspirational Kirk is also.
If they don’t…they need to do their research..no matter where they start to delve..the body of work is insane!

Just think, we ain’t seeing 1/2 of it and they do this before every show.

I wish they played Through The Never live. Underrated song.

There's something about Australia that makes them perform so raw and fucking awesome!!

Im going to buy more captain crunch now lol!

Fuck, man. James got some of the singing-voice back, that he used to have live. Some of it, not all. Damn, that was so awesome.
My favourite song from Justice

That divebomb at the end always gets me, man... So dirty.

Outstanding. Best Met song from the best Met album!
That voice man, so cool, it's even better than the Justice days. And the guitar tone is very cool, you can hear every note being played.

Yet we’re still waiting for them to come back to Australia 😢
Lmao that one little fuck up at the beginning of Justice and James tries to play it off by laughing lol i love Metaliica
and finally, the play it... Love metallica
lord, james' voice sounds great!!! METALLICA PLEASE COME TO TORONTO YOU WILL MAKE MY DREAM COME TRUE!!!!
James singing in this comes close to his 90s voice. I like it.
Take a listen to any 2013 performance so far, James is really doing well with the vocals, you can tell he's trying
Rob making sure Lars is in time lol 7:22
11 years since you were last in Brisbane. Time to come back ❤❤
Dam kirk actually got that solo like 95%.
And their tones sound tight.
I love all their albums! Well not so much garage inc or beyond magnetic but I am still a Metallica-hollic! ROCK ON Metallica!
Favorite Metallica song, And it's on my Birthday
I laughed when Lars said, why can't you just have one guitar haha
Was a fucking magic night. 3rd time seeing the boys, first time seeing Blackened live. Incredible! Metallica forever!!!
Thanks for everything, Metallica.
Damn, almost sounds like the Justice-era Hetfield vocals
@@JPX64Channel both are great in fairness
I don't think anyone will ever see this comment, but I whole-heartedly love this band and the members.

Metallica LOUDER than EVER!!!
sigo extrañando los toms 3 y 4 de la batería 😢
Metallica a melhor banda do mundo, amo vocês.
James: "It feels weird, playing this song on this guitar!" I wish I could say that too XD
Still sounding great after all these years! \m/
The sunset and the music was marvelous!

Angelos Theoharis the snakebyte is an esp, but I agree I like the original explorer shape much more
@@Iheartdgd yeah..why doesnt he use it anymore?
Angelos Theoharis probably because the snakebyte is his design and signature, he has them in alot of different finishes too. I think he pulls the original out every once in a while though, definitely in the studio. Idk about live though.
This is Awesome..
3:04 i dont know why but i just love the way jaymz strolls thourgh frame

Lars sounded great!
I remember this festival and how hot it was like 30°c and 70% humidity was such a good day otherwise

Damn 11 years later BTS footage was cool, and the 2010 look. Future here we come!
