Hello Max, on the day you take this video, i was sitting 2 table away from you. I wanted to come and take a picture with you. However, for polite reasons, i didn't disturb you while you were eating. I am you fan. Thank you for promoting my country's cuisine to your fans all over the world. CẢM ƠN
Thank you for you thank you max, he is handsome, thank you max too handsome for me to be happy to watch him eat handsome face smile today and all night and morning is great to watch eating max.
Duncan is an awesome dude, had a few positive interactions with him on Instagram talking about our love of our childhood favourite Vietnamese dishes and as always, thank you for the very informative, awesome and entertaining videos Max!
@@Macoi24Max dude where can i buy one of those cool wesimple baseball caps your wearing as my skull is VERY big so i need a metal buckle clip strap one like yours but can’t find them anywhere here in this Ununited Kingdom of Hell. Hope you can help me out as one size for all baseball caps don’t fit me man. Love the vlogs 👍👌
Top stuff Max... Help Duncan get more subs... This guy is one of my favourite chefs... Fresh, straight outta my home town of Melbourne, Australia... I will be in Hanoi middle of August, then returning again in October... Cant get enough of the food!!!
The lemongrass pork looks so so good. My mouth is watering watching this video. The Bun Bo Hue looks delicious too! Both places look wonderful! Thanks for your enthusiasm! ❤️😍😋😋😋
Thank Max for this awesome post. Tourist are usually the one knows where good food is located. But I prepared the locals. Thank you for sharing your wonderful day.
The pork looks absolutely incredible - it screams to me get in my stomach asap, just how you were describing it Max made me imagine how delicious it would've tasted, thank you for another epic video once again Max
Max I hope you return to the Mekong Delta. There is a lady on a boat there named Madame Zee who is known as the broth queen. She was featured in a Gordon Ramsay video. Thanks for introducing me to Duncan. I have been pondering learning how to cook Vietnamese cuisine and Duncan's platform looks like a great place to start.
Duncan's passion for food really spark. Thanks for the sharing, I gotta try it out now. P/s: love your T-shirt Max, may I ask where did you get it from?
Great looking bowls of BBH 👌 FYI, Bun Bo Hue is usually cooked using beef shank (cut across the grain after around 2-3 hrs cooked in the broth hence the rounded shape) instead of brisket as in Pho.

he sounded like a bun bo hue expert until he dipped the meat in hoisin sauce. first time i have ever seen that. different strokes for different folks!!
Awwww.....Max, sometimes I can feel that you are more like Vietnamese like some other Vietnamese people out there or even me. Love you, love your Vietnamese personality. Thank you.
You are really amazing 👍 How long you have been staying in VN so that you could learn to speak vietnamese ? Your vids are among the best partly because you respect the local folks and the local culture.
Every video makes me more excited for my first trip to Vietnam! One thing I’ve wondered about - what kind of tea are they using for that yellow iced tea that seems to be everywhere?
“Lá Trà” cũng là một mặt hàng xuất khẩu ở Việt Nam. Nên vì vậy, giá của nó ở Việt Nam thường khá rẻ. Nếu bạn uống coffee thì người ta sẽ miễn phí trà đá. Còn nếu sau bữa ăn bạn kêu thêm ly trà đá thì chỉ có khoảng 0.1$~2000VND
Ordering “cà phê sữa đá” in Vietnamese indeed means you really know Vietnam. Try “bạc sỉu” next time, Max; it’s the secret item on every coffee menu that only ones who have lived here long enough would know about.
Oh thats so true with both pho, bo kho and bun bo hue. Growing up, if we had any noodle soup and ran out of cooked noodles, we threw in instant Yum Yum Noodles, and it was delicious!!!! Childhood memories
You are just too cute. I really like how you 'feel' every details such as the chair,t he way you crossed your leg, and your exciting for the fish sauce..Hope you have the wonderful time in Vietnam Max!
Khi nói tiếng Việt giọng của Max thật sự rất dễ thương và phải phủ nhận rằng chú ấy phát âm quá chuẩn , tuyệt vời 😆 ! Mong chú Max sẽ đến chợ Hồ Thị Kỷ ăn 😚
Our grandson is in Vietnam presently and we wanted to see the food he will be eating and your channel does a great job thanks again for the efforts you put into your videos
"búng thịt nướng... Dạ, dạ mỡ hành..." Trời ơi, giọng bạn này phát âm kiểu miền nam nghe dễ cưng quá... omg, i love your voice, it's south voice, pretty cute. Amazing
My years studying in Australia I sorely missed the smell of pork rib grilling on the street every morning, knowing I would always order just the meatloaf and egg :)). They have Com Tam in Australia too but it doesn’t feel the same, mostly because they only serve in restaurant and quite pricey. Vietnamese food oversea is surprisingly expensive, that’s why being back at home is the best.
Everything is quiet expensive these days in Australia. Vietnamese food is actually amongst the cheapest out of all asian foods including Chinese, Thai, Japanese and Korean. I think the price reflects Australia's cost of living. The produce in Australia is alot better especially with beef.
My mom would only make that hoisin, chili, & lime dipping sauce for Pho. When we ate Hu Tieu or Bun Bo Hue it was just a fish sauce, lime, and sliced bird's eye chili dipping sauce.
Bun Bo Hue is my favorite of all noodle soups. My favorite ingredient in all soups is tendon. It doesn’t replace the meat. But it’s my guilty pleasure.
Just devoured this amazing pork and rice. The smokey BBQ flavours with the marinade makes for an amazing combination. Tender and juicy inside with a nice crispy outer. The pickled vegetables are fantastic too. Great recommendation.
You should go eat com tam with Max, if you haven't. He loves com tam and misses it when he goes back to the US. Sonny from the Best Ever Food Review loves com tam, too. Both also love eating bun dau mam tom....but you may not be brave enough for that as many Viets aren't either. 😂 Or better yet, ask Max to take you to BEST snail feast in Vietnam and order everything. Amazing stuff, right there.

Max, you should try this food at Ngô Quyền rice, especially in HCMUS Linh Trung base, cheaper, and surely much more better
