Okay so listen up Sollefteå! I live in Belgium, own a restaurant, work my butt off every day and don't really have free time BUT please do these events yearly and I will make time for it. It's so nice to be connected with nature and wonderful people! See you soon in Sweden!

I'm moving to Sweden next year (all the way from Australia) and would be thrilled to join the next event! I'd love to meet some like-minded, passionate people ❤️
My intention is to spend a year exploring the country in the hope of figuring out where I'd like to live permanently - maybe Sollefteå will be on my shortlist!
I have no hitchhiking or similar to offer and I don't live in northern Sweden. But feel free to get in touch when you come to Sweden, for anything, a sofa to sleep on, someone to socialize with, for a question, for advice or whatever.

I got so excited when I saw the notification for this video! 🥰 I am so glad I went to this event and I know it will forever have an impact on my life. Many thanks to you and Sollefteå municipality for taking the time and effort to make it real. ❤I hope there will be more like this! I loved to be able to finally see Sweden for myself, but my favorite part was also to be around all those beautiful people, and realizing that we share so many dreams and tastes. I never thought I would enjoy being surrounded by strangers so much! 😂And even though we met as strangers, it just felt like we had found long lost friends. ❤ A shout-out to the Sollefteå municipality staff that were with us during the activities as well, they were so sweet and welcoming! 🥰

This video couldn't have come at a better timing! We'll be coming to Sollefteå soon with my wife and 2 year old son for a visit. We found out about the city around an year ago through you Kalle, and it has been in our minds ever since. In Swedish, if you express that there are different races, that means you are a racist. We don't use that word. Different cultures, different religions and different skin-colors maybe but humans are all of the same race.
It's great to see that authorities recognise opportunity and agree to such proposals to open up their community to people that maybe want to come visit but they don't have the courage unless someone steps up and invites them. I've always been fond of the north in general and those peoples way of thinking. It would be amazing if such events would become a trend as it would benefit the world and the local community. Imagine 5 years from now, coming back to this video to refer to it as "the one that started it all" in a good sense, ofcourse.
Both summer and winter editions would have their charm but imagine visiting Sweden and seeing the northern lights and get to skate or take an ice bath...dreams come true!

Meeting someone who you are looking up to was truly mind shifting for me. As if big doors opened up and my 'dreams' started feeling like 'plans'. Asking you simple questions over the dining table and feeling us all in this one same world made a huge impact for my creativity, beliefs and inspiration... I would love to be a part of the winter version of this event. One thing I’ve found that often brings disparate peoples together is learning to cook together. That would serve to a) provide opportunities to interact with the municipality, b) teach something of Swedish culture and food to attendees and c) meet caloric needs of the group (which, I’m guessing, is no small feat!).
I would love to come to Sweden! as it is my heritage.

I think that was one of my very special videos bringing like minded people together with same interest. I loved this video it touched my heart made me emotional yet filled my heart with joy. I have travelled hundreds of miles rain, sunny, snowing, usually it has been by my self. What a wonderful way of getting together in the wide open spaces not letting the weather hold you back. I love a rainy day its special. Wonderful idea you came up with, special for everyone including the dogs. I can't imagine why the municipality wouldn't want it to take place again its a win, win, for everyone involved. Thanks for sharing.

So cool! We just got back from hiking the Höga Kusten Leden and had such a great experience in the area 😊 Was thinking about reaching out as we were in the region, so this is a lovely format for a meet-up. Definitely winter edition would be cool - my favourite time to visit Sweden!

(My attendance would bump up the average age a bit, since it looks like most who attended are young. But I am young at heart.)

I have just come across your RUclips and have spent most of my timme sinne New Year’s Eve. watching your videos. It’s amazing to say the least what you have done, the life you two lead and the unique project inviting 50 subscribers to have a taste of your experience. I will have to watch more of your videos to have a complete idea how you did that. That before I got to know about that event, just after watching your videos about your shopping trip in the middle of winter with such magic winter scape I had immediately thought about asking you how I one could visit your area. I am probably not the typical subscriber you have had. I am much older, 72 to be exact, female, very fit and it would be my wildest dream to have an opportunity to experience life in a cabin in northern Sweden. Just be there for say, one week not doing anything but hiking, walking in the forest, take in the surrounding, …would be more than enough for me. I live in Canada, have been in Sweden several times mostly in the West coast areas except twice in Stockholm but have watched several videos about the Lapland / Kiruna. I am trying to watch more of your videos- it’s good that I have just retired! - to learn about your awesome and tremendous process since buying and moving into your cabin and read your Finding Your True North to see what suggestions are…

This is so super cool! I traveled throughout Europe when I was in my 20s. I think how wonderful and so much safer it would have been to meet up with like-minded people heading to the same destination and hanging out for a bit. I hope you make this a thing.
