Trains at Stowmarket - 19/12/2023

Filmed on 19/12/2023. So this is it, as 2023 comes to a close with time to reflect and to help out relatives for a week with animal sitting duties, we manage to venture out and about for a few days. Kicking of with the one and only station of the day with very wet weather conditions and to the town of Stowmarket. (Season 10 Episode 40)
Right on the heart of the Great Eastern Mainline which has 2 platforms, Greater Anglia provides a great number of services for: London Liverpool Street, Cambridge, Peterborough and Ipswich. For a few of their London Liverpool Street to Norwich services, Greater Anglia has on loan to them a few class 745/1 units for Stansted Express duties which there is no First Class accommodation provided.
Also, this station is also highly recommended for providing for vast variety of intermodal traffic running to and from Felixstowe. These are worked by the class 66 locomotives from Freightliner and GB Railfreight.
