@@squaeman_2644 Of course Jack wants BF titles to be popular, that doesn't take away the huge progress the game has made, with real squad management this is a real BF title and i don't see a single fact based argument against that. The community need to recognize that BF2042 has received a lot of good work and is very close to being a true BF experience, for anyone who plays solo and don't care about the squads (so 98 % of players) it already is.
I'm not basing my opinion out of Jack or anyone's ideas, the game has insane variety of playstyles available, it's great fun and the only youtubers i see not enjoying it are those channels that bashes developers and publishers around the clock and always ramble about the death of X and Y franchise.

@Chris Collins Go to 'edit player card', then select 'backgrounds', then 'general', scroll down, it should be the last selectable one. Same steps for the tag except obviously select 'tags' instead of 'backgrounds'.
It has been bugged for some people, so if you don't see it, try restarting the game.

The discarded revamp was so much better than I expected. From what I saw I thought only some minor cover was added, but whole terrain and hills where added and moved. It felt so much better playing. Might be one of my favs playing on breakthrough too. Love pushing up that hill into the junkyard.
As much as they've improved this game I -still- have more fun playing any of the other ones.. the maps and lack of atmosphere just don't do it for me.

BFF and yourself are huge for me, and remind me of when I first ventured into the Battlefield franchise way back when the BF3 beta came out! Instantly I got hooked on the game, then the whole franchise and it's community! I haven't been gaming in a number of years now, but still always enjoy the content! Fly High Recon!!!

I have a habit of purposely running the weird/uncommon guns just to see what they're like. I end up loving lots of them and some really shine with special traits that the general OP weapons lack.
Also, style. Because some look sick as heck.

PKP has been lots of fun for me, once you get the recoil it feels so good!
Yeah, I even experimented with different attachments to see if every weapon could be as effective.
I think BF2042 has the charm in that.

I might actually have to try it out soon. I have been a huge BF fan, ever since BF Spetsnaz (?) Came out. When 2042 came along with all bugs, crashes & weird stuff, I wasn't convinced to buy it. Might do so, tomorrow. Great video yet again Jack!🔥👍

@@vindikaktus Easy to say when there's way less servers because people closed them expecting the new one to be worth the franchise name. I'm sure BF4, BF1 and maybe BFV have some servers though.

I’ve picked it back up for about two weeks now and it’s the most fun I’ve had on a shooter in a long time. Ashika island is try hard city rn. Warzone seems to be in flames and I gotta focus too much on siege when I play it lol 2042 is great fun rn. Enjoying it a lot! Started off horrible but is making a great comeback right now. Highly recommend

The RM68 with the thermal sight is cheating it's so good.
@@admckenna1870 In my opinion the last lazer sight you unlock, standard issue/extended mag, the thermal Holo sight and the short suppressor.
The set up Gary uses is a beast, and absolutely shreds
@@Aries_Alpha yes to standard extended, also have close combat as backup, yes to short suppressor but also keep the regular one for longer range kills it is a beast at range too also yes to the mgl laser sight. As for optics I love the thermal holo I can't remember if the 2x thermal is available for the RM68 but if it is, get it I've found it so useful for many ars and lmgs but also have a non thermal sight available because if people use smokes it makes it impossible to see anything near the smoke but if you have a regular sight you can still see people's laser sights through smoke (also if you use smoke try flipping your laser sight off it's crazy how easy it is to track lasers through it)

That is awesome that they added that player card for Thicc44. The new management on this game are doing great things with it, maybe the next BF game will bring back the glory of BF3 and BF4.

Crazy how DICE has turned this around, it's not perfect but it's alot better than when it first started. Still a long way to go but I hope they dont give up on 2042 too early just as it's getting good, unlike the BFV.
This is the only map that has a true bf feel they made overall game tolerable not a big turn around its not the bf game you play for hrs all day like bf3 4 1 bc2 etc slow down my guy
They’ve done this for literally 3 games straight. Battlefront 2, battlefield 5, and this all came out incomplete and broken
Perfection is overrated. It's fun as fuck. Perfect is a stupid standard. It's a person problem if you think the game still needs "a long way to go"

It‘s a lot of fun now, however, I was wondering if they recently decreased the TTK. Could be just the Sfar and the RM68, but man, sometimes I can‘t even react in the slightest before going down.

If this were the release state it would’ve been a huge success. You can’t honestly say this feels like a game that has been out for almost 2 years. Where’s the maps? Guns? There’s still only 3 snipers more than a year after release.
There was a bug in BF4 briefly where vehicle carcasses didn't despawn. I thought it was awesome. They littered the map by the end. I think it's one thing that sticks out as so 2002, the budget blocky carcasses that disappear into thin air.. they should stay on the map, at least until the vehicle that replaced it gets destroyed and becomes a new carcess. Give them good physics and become interactive and persistent cover on the map that would be along the same lines as destruction but even more awesome

Carcasses scattered across the maps would be dope but I’m more keen on getting the destruction back in the game.
I noticed they also took away the door panel thing, so you can't control who opens the doors. Not sure why they did that.
It auto switches based on proximity. holding was annoying tbh

I think it's like u said the recoil hits the head and the fire rate pins two shots center mass before the recoil starts to raise the bullet path, think that's why it's so efficient at killing lol.

Honestly jack I been running the ghost maker it's a load of fun getting those headshots out sniping snipers there is almost no bullet drop at all then close range on shot kill yeah totally a blast

Dozer is a beast. He can survive a direct impact with the SPH. I've also got hit by all 5 of Sundance split grenades and survived.

The RM68 is basically the suppressed M4 from BF3 and that's all I needed to enjoy this game, glad I came back and gave this another go as it's so good right now.
@@jericwhite2399 To unlock the RM68 you mean? It's unlocked at tier 40 in the battlepass. I play a few hours here and there and I've completed the battlepass without skipping. Just do the weekly missions and it accelerates your levels up through the tiers :)
Why do all the guns look like laser beams when fired? Is it a problem with the gunplay? Because I remember having to burst fire and time my shots back in Bf4.
BF4 had random bullet spread while 2042 doesn’t
Depends on the gun and how skilled you are at controlling the recoil. The AK-24, PKP, AM40, and others have more vertical recoil.
Depends on the gun, the range and the players ability to control recoil whilst tracking targets. Bf4 weapons overall had more recoil and also the recoil patterns for many weapons were very specific but once learned even in that game you could laser with a weapon once you got it down. In bf4 using the scar h, aek, acwr, SVD and a few others I could make them look like laser beams too.
@@damienmcdonald7610 The issue in BF4 is that most guns had very little first shot recoil so therefore you can just single shot beam people with no ease

I think everyone should give the M60 a try, its not OP but it's just fun to use because it is so chunky. Feels like you're just blowing bits off of people with it.
Main M60 here. Its just too fun. Love the sound. And the hipfire its soo good dont know why. Rambo vives all time. Play with 1911 as secondary
I actually used that thing in rush and it's pretty good lol. My favorite vault weapon hands down is the M416. I love that gun in battlefield Hardline too.

It’s been about $3 used on GameStop for consoles
The hate mostly comes from the launch, a lot of players hate specialists and there isn't large scale destruction like some previous titles. But if you can get it I would recommend it, it's a great game I really like the specialists especially since they got put in a class system and I just really like the game overall. Destruction is great but can make maps less fun once everything is leveled so I don't think it's as big a deal as many players make out and I've been playing since BC2 the only thing I really didn't like was the awful launch that seems to have become a staple of DICE lately
Rough launch as usual for battlefield but it’s a lot of fun. But also EVERY Battlefield since 4 has had massive hate at launch
if you are curious as to how good the game is, look at the player count, that will tell you plenty.
I’ve been enjoying it off and on since release, but it’s becoming my goto now. Having a blast!

Dice screwed up with 128 players. Feels like you can’t do shut individually and you constantly run into an entire fleet of people on each objective
