BF and COD do this every time. Introduce a new gun, make it OP, have everyone use it, and then nerf it in couple of weeks. Nothing new here.

It is better to cycle it. Taq 56 has been the meta in MW2 for the entirety of its life cycle until now and players just wouldn't put it down, not fun.
they gotta maintain their playerbase somehow, otherwise they would actually have to put care into their franchise

Battlepass weapons are always super OP in the beginning and then get nerfed once free2play players have started unlocking it

2042 is far from great I don't understand when a new map comes out everyone like oh it's great again. You literally could make this map on exposure. All it is is a meat grinder map that doesn't magically make a game great again.

Don't believe anything Jack says, EA pays his rent for him because he says whatever they want him to say. Stopped watching his content a long time ago. I'm only watching this because I'm on my break at work and can't play right now, and I have the audio off so it's like I'm watching myself play.

As a language learning model, I must disclose that I cannot actually be killed or revived. However...MEDIC!!!!
Sometimes AI are better than real players in this game anyway. I can count on one hand the amount of times a player hit my Heli with an RPG but if there's AI in the match they'll hit me at least once even if there's only 1 on the enemy team. Also every once in a while I'll just get beamed by them on foot too lol
I've always tried to revive everyone, and i've been revived by AI a lot of time so i guess karma :D

At this point I’m pretty tired of it and wish he’d address the fact they are actually paying him to say this game is fun. It’s literally not. I’ve been playing since bad company 2 and gotta say bf4 was the last great battlefield game there is. Bf1 is a close 2nd

This new gun reminds me of the one from BF1, the RSC. That one was amazing aswell, also was really good with its two-shot kill. And imo that one actually felt better, in its total, the sound, the heaftyness, the punch… Man, BF1 was awesome :)
That thing was also balanced because it had high recoil, 6 shot mag and long reload. This gun is absolutely busted as they always are.

Oh man so excited to try this, just got off work a bit ago, so glad they added the small ammo pouches too, went back to bf1 and thought that it was something 2042 needed.

I've used the M39 EMR a lot in this game and was looking forward to another good marksman riffle, and this looks like the one!
If I drank a shot every time Jack said BF2042 was finally good, I would need a new liver.

'I have lag but I want this to look good for you to watch' -- As much as other content creators exist, the reason Jack is so popular is he makes a real effort. Unlike some who think they can get by on minimum effort so they can sit about playing games all day.
I played a little this morning. I couldn't see anything, everything around me was exploding, and we had 64 people all fighting over a single doorway. It was like playing Locker again! I had a good time.
The transport vehicle looks fun as hell, I can imagine it going after helis with the passenger RPG or recoilless
Basically if you take a sniper rifle that has full auto and slap a short range sight on it, turning it from a sniper rifle into a battle rifle. But you can't really do the same using assault rifles with bigger scopes, as the stats can't scale up, only downward.

This explains alot, first game on the new map last night and all I was getting was 2 shotted and could not even push to the objective at time,, was Chaos....
This gun reminds me of the Marksman Rifle that was in the MW3 beta this past weekend but weaker because the MW3 beta rifle could pop brain cases in one shot and drop people with 2 body shots

I truly had a blast playing this map! No cheesy tactics, just played like a vet and racked up a 50 kill game, with the top score as well. I want more of this!

Battlefield game that has been out for two years is only just now getting any significant content but still doesn't have the team play opportunities that BF5, 1 and 4 had.

The gun play has always felt unimaginative to me. There's no character and so many guns feel very similar with just varying fire rates and damage
I agree, the guns all feel so light. As well as the characters. I’m previous battlefield games, there was more weight to the soldiers and weapons

It reminds me of the RSC 1917 from BF1, The RCS was harder to control and only had a small mag though which balanced it
Once you got used to the RCS life it was very hard to go back

Walmart in the USA put out Xmas after Labor day before Oct 1.
Of course they did this. They did the same with the RM68. It'll encourage people to buy the battlepass to get early access to the new meta rather than grind it out to level 46.

seeing this update and map come to the game, makes me happy they decided to keep going with 2042 i feel they have now at least majority of the maps as a battlefield game big open spaces for combat, some maps better on breakthrough and others the new map thats literally good fun like operation locker, now all thats remaining is a naval map which would be really cool.

On the PC, there is a problem that the game is not launching on Steam and it stays in a loop that simply makes the game not open, how did you do?

It will be a long time I will get the new DRM with how much they nerf the points you get the weekly challenges. In my pace I will probably only get between 5 and 10 this week.
This gun reminds me of the sks in bf3. It was just like this.. two hits and could just keep firing..
Pair that with the infrared scope.. I got a lot of hate messages until they both got patched

On operation locker there were red pipes you could shoot and get a massive explosion. Can you blow up the red pipes in the zip line room? Or anywhere on this map?

How did Jack even get the game working? Mine just gets stuck Validating in Steam, even after manually installing the new AC and just doing a fresh install.

IMO they should make the g28 have a really high rate of fire (300-400) and make it minimum 3 shot to kill similar to dm7, or FAL from BO2. No game has ever recreated a fast firing single fire like the FAL which was so rewarding to use

DICE & companies, I know you read these comments on the Jackfrags yt channel, please make another season with maritime map with a very random tsunami coming through some island chain for eg. Include submarines , ships, aircraft carriers and frogmen suit outs. Cheers
