- Battlefield 2042 added an absolutely ridiculous 128 player infantry only mode and it is VERY popular right now. Makes the whole pace of the game different. Leave a LIKE and a comment, thanks for watching.

Vehicles are definitely a part of the core of BF but infantry only is just so fun as well.
Even a scooter would take 3 rockets in this BF so good riddance imho.
Meanwhile, I had my most fun in the Close Quarters DLC, especially Gun Master, in BF3.

As fun as vehicles can be, it's definitely nice to just run as/with infantry for awhile. Wish they'd keep this mode.
If you wanna go for a hike go play theHunter: Call of the Wild
yeah. the problem with vehicles nowadays their isn't enough to combat them. Especially helicopters and jets there isn't enough stuff to disable or kill them.
@@bransay3594 battlefield 3 and 4 did it perfectly rpgs and smaws would one shot them so you have to have skill but now they do like 30-40 damage thats it.

I wish they’d bring the javelin back. A lock on rocket launcher is needed to combat vehicles

8:11 you guys remember the building on operation firestorm on bf3 that were that sized? By the end of the round all you could see was the metal frames of them because all the walls had been blown away. Was ahead of it’s time.
The normal factory buildings do the same in 2042. Like the ones on Orbital.

i enjoy playing this game so much more than MW2. having no SBMM and just vibing is pure bliss in this current gaming climate. I wouldn't be surprised to see a constant influx of players if they keep improving the game.

I think there is already a big growth because of the game pass implementation. The game is getting in a good direction and is actually fun now

As someone who loves infantry conquest and tdm with the slick shooting of 2042 this is the dream mode for me
I really liked the break through/rush mode conquest never really scratched my bf itch, the absolute chaos of break through focusing the points was just always more fun the 128 player mode made it even more chaotic 😂
Idk about the shooting. Definetely feels more modern than let's say Bf4 but the guns all sound and feel a bit same-y. I hate what MW does with sbmm and stuff but they do the shooting reeeaally well. A bit more inspiration with what Cod is currently doing gunplay wise wouldn't hurt imo

@@novalzeuz Conquest was the only somewhat balanced mode in BFV. Squad conquest was my favorite but they took it out.
I started playing Battlefield at the right time, 2042 seems to be thriving and i'm having a lot of fun with it. I'm also enjoying BF1 a lot too.
I downloaded 2042 hours after release and hated it, i started playing it again a week ago and now im loving it. Got really happy when i saw that you were uploading the game too Jack, much love from Norway

As a Battlefield player since 1942, I waited a year to jump into this game. I picked up an Xbox Series X and decided to give it a go, I am enjoying it more than MW2 at the moment, I'm glad I waited though
I hope you got it at a discount, still not quite worth the 60$ price tag. I do enjoy it now that it is playable lol

According to the haters, there are no full games, nobody is playing. Starting to see praise for BFV from these people, who were vehement about hating it when it was dicey. Some people just need something to hate.
When the next battlefield releases people are gonna hate it then praise 2042 like it’s a repeat, recycle tradition

you are right but the thing is that bf5 got through 2 years of changes, map and gun additions to be somewhat decent just like bf2042 will be.
my only problem is that people have dementia and forget that every bf game since bf3 has been somewhat broken in release
Bf5 is great, it would be been insane with more DLC. The gun play was excellent. BF2042 is great too, I really enjoy it, but it lacks a lot and a lot feels thrown together or illogical.

Hazard zones gear system I don’t like tbh and firestorms main down side was the over hate for BF V and how broken vehicles were in firestorm

@@ligaar0849 it did some good but with the imbalance of vehicles as is in MP, it becomes even more of an issue in a BR atleast you have a chance because you can select your kit to counter vehicles in BR it’s just kinda luck of the draw

Jack you know what is ridiculous. They recommended settings show a i7 4790 and 1060gb. I have those specs and 128 modes does not work at all. Its insanely laggy and goes into a slow mode effect full.of stutters.But playing 64 player works flawlessy.

Honestly after playing Battlebit's playtest, with their 127 v 127 modes is just awesome. Large scale combat with or without vehicles is just a blast

It's coming back later this month but weapons will not be restricted to classes only the gadgets will be and the Specialists are going into the Classes as well.

It's cool to have a rotation of this game mode for sure, but its not ok to remove the core conquest mode to replace it lol.

This used to be the norm on MAGs Acquisition mode. It was a lot tighter though, and had a lot more objectives to take. Tons of fun.

Probably one of the best ideas Dice have had for a while, lets hope the next Bf title releases in a playable state with all the features they suggest at launch. Rather than the mess of both Bfv and Bf2042.

Been saying since launch that this game needs a Small 16 player, Medium 32 player, Large 64 player, X Large 128 player versions of every game mode, including more legacy game modes like capture the flag, obliteration, and carrier assault to give the game more content. It would make the game 10x better imo but hey what tf do us fans know???? Cmon Dice WTF!!!???

I completely agree, I’m a diehard bf5 player but I got 2042 in December and have been really enjoying it, maybe give it another go now.

The ability to cause destruction in BC2 was awesome; one of the main reasons I replayed it so many times! It would be awesome if you could do that in this game or any other BF title.
Some of the maps of bf5 have a ton of destruction, any of the town maps

What we actually need is an infantry map, a locker equivalent. Not maps made for vehicles with no vehicles.
jack, you should try battlebit remastered. it has 127v127 player servers. it has building and vehicle destruction, dragging dead team mates, proximity chat where you can hear friendlys and enemies. its seriously more battlefield then 2042 is.
Rocket launchers in this game are ridiculously underpowered.
The TGM is actually best for air vehicles once you learn to use it, the recoilless is best for armour and inf
With Lis's rocket launcher, it has to be a straight body hit if they are fully health. It's nice for camping snipers though.

Limited resources available. Naturally, they had to cut destructible buildings to make room for leaf physics.
They nerfed Liz's missiles so they dont do so much splash damage on Infantry. They are more effective on vehicles.
Breakthru chaos should definitely become part of the franchise and they should also bring back Squad conquest from BFV

BF2042 is the best game nobody plays. Not sure why.
The skill gap is higher than what people would like. People want a more casual battlefield like BF4 and BF1
Never have a problem finding a full game I think alot of people are playing
I still think 120 player maps should be sectioned off. the idea is that each map as zones to capture similar to how it is now, but you can only enter the zone your team has and only the enemy zones that border your zone. So if your zone borders a single enemy zone you can enter that zone, but you cannot enter the enemy zone behind it. This would simulate smaller battles throughout the map similar to planetside 2 but of course when both teams have the zones split evenly the map really opens up to the large scale battle, but of course you want to avoid this because it causes a lot of player downtime between fights. A game would end once a team captures all zones or the time runs out, ideally the game would last until the time runs out and games where your team is steamrolled would end quickly.

Game looks great, the art style is very clean, not super detailed and stuff. I prefer BF5 but my favourite is BF1, the perfect balance of graphics and great art style in my opinion

i played this mode it is crazy I had to hold down a hallway dozens of enemies were swarming my LMG ranked up so much that game.

Jack, just like the TV guided missile, you can press E when directing the G-84 TGM missile to escape out of it. That way you don't have to wait for it to run out of fuel.

I ran into JackFrags towards the end of the Nordvik event - the first time I’ve ever ran into a RUclipsr and a massive one at that. Unfortunately he was on the other team and I only realised towards the end of the game but I did manage to get the final kill on him. Great experience!

I wish COD would do something like this with their boots on the ground mode but get rid of kill streaks so it's only infantry gameplay.

Dice gave the players the "Skedar" rocket launcher.
NTW 50 for me with 5X scope. Liz"s rocket can go just about anywhere and around anything. Love taking out snipers with it.
