The Fluke 117 is a good budget $200 multimeter, all the basics, DC/AC voltage, current/amps, resistance/ohms, diode checker, capacitance, frequency (for electric motors and such). Love the videos Justin, keep it up!
His stuff is getting better and better as he grows his business, I feel sorry for the people that dont see Justin as a intelligent man... Those are the people that will never succeed great in life because everything goes right over their heads wondering what someone else is doing.
I've had good luck with the *bare* splices... add my own heat shrink after crimping... Great stuff, man! 'Specially appreciate the *real world* advice.
He's right on! Shops are charging $150 to $175 hr to touch your truck. All of it and a little more. Spare fuses, light bulbs, air hoses, spare belts, spare tire or 2.
My uncles 70th birthday is this weekend im gonna show him your videos hes a retired dump truck and bulldozing business owner. Good stuff and congratz on 26,000!
I don't think you missed a thing that is the basic tools that you're going to need when you come out and quitting time and work on the truck for 3 hours you did a beautiful job you can tell you that what you're doing LOL. The only other thing that I used to carry was one headlight and one or two tail light stop light bulbs and I'd always carry a piece of wire with me a 3-foot foot long 16 gauge just-in-case. And then there's a roll of duct tape and a roll of tie wire commercial that they use for tying rebar when you're out working and something falls off you know sometimes you don't have time to fix it but you can wire it together do you get home
I keep on my truck a glad hand with quick connect fitting so I can run air tools for quick on the road repairs and let me tell ya they are a time saver!!
Hey Justin I had just purchased my first dump truck ( Kenworth t300 )and I heard you talking about the truck organizer in cab. On a live stream could you show the ones you purchased
I really thought you worked on your trucks? There’s got to be another tool box in your shop with used tools! The big cobras haven’t even had it’s cherry popped!! And that grease gun is that your back up? A creeper must not be important?
You would have to have a screw loose to go in the dump truck business LOL. Would I own a dump truck probably not I work on the shit and drive everyday for the company I work for.
The Video I show people when they ask should I buy a dump truck. THIS SHIT IS SERIOUS!!!! working on your own shit save you money... Takes time but DEFINITELY will keep you on the road. Make everything PREVENTIVE!!! Good drivers don’t exist like they use to anymore!! SHIT BAG DRIVERS just hold steering wheel shift gears and park
Junkie ........ I just wanted to let you know the broker paid !!!!!! 68 days ! Whewwwww and they paid in full! god dauymmnnnnn ive been nervous as hell.
Justin you are spot on about the repair cost and lost wages. Too many people don't realize you pay your bills off the bottom line and not the top.

Totally agree with oil changes being a chance to look things over. Amazing what you can diagnose just by getting under the vehicle.

My garbage freight test light made it from apprentice to journeyman. And still sits next to my fluke
You didn't mention a way to balance the tires. Do you have a shop balance them or do you do it yourself somehow?
Very smart video 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻.. I’m sure I can round you up a good test light Bro’ ,, Not sure How long the H/F test light will last in the long run..
Intros always cold af!
