And not that the game's story was all about her if she meant it like that she would be technically breaking the fourth wall by being self aware, which just doesn't fit in the game it fits in mgs games but not the witcher trilogy.

Also I know I am fact-checking a joke video, but we do not actually know if women just wouldn't survive the trial of grasses. They never were considered for it. In Blood of Elves witchers actually considered trying it on Ciri. They even fed her some herbs and mushrooms that already altered her body's chemistry, though not in a significant permanent way.

Even though this is an April Fool's joke, Geralt could have meant that Ciri walked with the poise and confidence of a witcher. I mean look at everyone else in the world of the Witcher games (at least). Most people are broken, with slumped shoulders. Then there are the arrogant fools who stare down their noses at you. Very few people actually walk with the purpose, and quiet confidence that we see in Geralt. Now did they animate that? Well, yes. She walks like Yenn, Triss, and all of the other women in the game that have the same level of confidence and purpose as Geralt (the exception to this rule being the prostitutes, because they're meant to look and act sexy).
I bring this up because a similar line appears in the Bourne Identity books. Jason (even though he has lost his memory), on a primal level, feels that a certain man was extremely dangerous, not because the guy was ripped, or her had scars, or an edgy haircut, but because of the way he walked. I feel like that is what the writer's were trying to go for.

No doubt about it, Ciri is the worst. She's particularly bad in April, on the first. It's a wonder any of us could stand to go further in Witcher 3 after meeting her as the young Bad Seed in the tutorial.
In NG+ towards the end of the campaign when you play as Ciri and fight the Crones; it’s bugged out and is super difficult because her level didn’t scale up with the rest of the game so the crones hit like trucks and you do minimal damage. Making the encounter one of the most difficult in the game
Even worse with enemy upscaling.

I always thought it strange that Ermion called Yennefer a thief. In my playthrough, Geralt steals everything not nailed down. Oh look a mask, mine. Where is the mask Geralt? Oh it's in the infinite chest with five million broken rakes.

The whole main game story doesn't make sense. The Wild Hunt wants to abduct Ciri because she can effortlessly teleport between worlds, and the Wild Hunt wants to use this ability of hers because the White Frost is about to destroy their world, right?
But it turns out that Ciri can simply stop the White Frost so... Realisticly the story should go as follows:
Wild Hunt: Hey Ciri could you stop the White Frost for us please?
Ciri: Yeah sure.
The End.

Well, one thing is that developers did a lot of work with this game, but seems like they got bored at the end and said "U'know what? Fuck this shit, just put it in". I mean, there are similiar mistakes in the game, higher vampire for example, the one that you have to kill while searching for Priscilla's attacker. I mean, a higher vampire, but Geralt just kills him and then in B&W we hear that it's impossible and they also look differently... Well. This is just dumb.
I've read all of the Witcher books and Ciri has one the toughtest, most brutal arcs of the heroine, I have ever read. God bless you Ciri and keep swinging thar sword.

Hell yeah. Cast is quite good compared to twisted story in my opinion. I saw 2nd ep. and then tried 3rd. I had to stop it when Triss appeared (it maybe small detail but wtf is she doing in that part?).

I've played through the Witcher 3 and it's DLC I'd say maybe ten times. The parts I dread replaying are the bits where they drop you in as Ciri. You spend all this time learning when to block, utilising your signs, crafting and choosing the right equipment then you gotta play as someone who can't use signs, doesn't have your equipment and every block of theirs doesn't open up a counter. The story is excellent but I'd been happy with just cut scenes of her story.
Her teleport is so op aswell it makes encounters pointless

In my opinion, the worst thing about this character is that she is used to degrade the player character to a back seat driver in his own story _in the _*_grand finale,_* robbing the player of all *agency* and basically condemning the big resolution of 200+ hours of gameplay to a cutscene. Geralt is _not allowed_ to follow her to fight the White Frost, not allowed to do anything else meaningful, just forced to stand accused of being a bad father figure if the player got at least 3 out of 5 absolutely marginal gameplay decisions "wrong" over the course of over a hundred hours of play - and highly debatable ones, too, if you ask me. I felt like Poe in The Last Jedi, being bitchslapped for _how-the-hell-is-anyone-supposed-to-figure-out-THAT._
