All plant-based diet are vegans but not all vegan diet are plant -based
Exactly, the main difference is being a “conscious” vegan which means no junk food this is the same as adhering to a whole food plant based diet.
I stopped saying I was vegan because veganism is associated to animal ethics and my reason for not eating meat and cheese is for health reasons. I wouldn’t want to be called out by a vegan when they found that I still use honey and that my shoes weren’t vegan lol 😅
I’m 62 and vegan for 7 years. I just started my raw vegan high-fruit journey 4 months ago. I will say this. There are a lot of people who will say they are plant-based but they are still consuming animal products. Some are still eating salmon or eggs, or dairy, or even poultry, just less of those items while avoiding pork and red meat. I think that regardless of what diet one chooses, junk food should be avoided. I classify myself as vegan because I do not consume any animal products. I don’t consume processed foods either. I also don’t want to kill anything for food or support hoarding of animals for food (dairy, eggs) which is also cruel.. Therefore, I identify as vegan. Plant-based just means more plants than animal sources of food but does not exclude killing or hoarding animals for food. If someone is vegan, they should eventually have enough sense not to eat food that is not healthy for them. At some point their own body will tell them to stop eating processed foods.
your videos are helping my life so much. thank you, sweetheart!❤
🙏🏽🙌🏽 Yay! ❤️
Plant based is better 😁
Don't you mean WFPB? A lot of people eat vegan food, but veganism is based on ethics and the decision to not harm animals. Veganism has nothing to do with health. People who choose to eat plantbased (but not necessarily WFPB) for climate reasons or health reasons aren't vegan, as the fundamentals of veganism has to do with animal rights..
Hey Sarah! Yes honey! I agree. The full video goes into more detail: ruclips.net/video/2B4ye80u3f0/видео.html 💜
Vegan is a diet first of not eating animals or animals by-products; then in addition to a diet, vegans also try to avoid any animal derivatives as much as they choose to do on a personal level.
😂😂😂 Lord Ritz
I'm a plant based vegan who avoid processed foods though not strictly.
veganism is not a diet, it is a moral stance or pholisophy. Vegans eat plants or plant based food products. Plant based food also includes doritos since it is based on plants... great that you are talking abuot it!
but plant based allows some meat?
Did you have up and down days?
Yes love! It’s natural- but so worth it ❤️
Do you know how a plant based diet affects grey matter?
I’ll have to do some research about this 😊
No. A plant based means you eat meat and/or dairy, but mostly plants. plant BASED
It COULD mean that. I identify as plant based and I don’t eat meat nor dairy.
That's what I thought as well... from most published papers plant based diet includes meat
