You said a month ago that you haven't done any Angelina Jordan in a long time. She just dropped a new interpretation of Elvis's "Suspicious Minds" last night that is amazing. Maybe this is a good one to get back in to her music with. ruclips.net/video/RTbKhkceR00/видео.html
You HAVE TO check out Hello by Evanescence! She wrote that song for her sister that passed away. It will hit you as hard as this one! It’s my absolute favorite song! My immortal is a very close second!
Woohoo!Woo-hoo!! Queen Amy! Female vocalist GOAT!! Her voice is angelic. Other great songs: Going Under Call Me When You're Sober Lithium My Heart Is Broken
Whether Amy Lee’s singing a ballad that breaks your heart or rocking out to Call Me When You’re Sober, you never have to wonder what emotions she was feeling when she wrote the songs. You should check out Break In by Halestorm ft Amy Lee. It’s a powerhouse duet by two amazing female vocalists.
She is the perfect example of how having a deep emotional attachment to what you are singing really comes through in the delivery without using any fancy production gimmicks, complicated runs, melisma or choosing to deliberately use stylistic choices to sound more like what is currently trending. She just sings naturally from the heart and you feel each word. I love all thier songs and can't choose favorites so 'Whisper' 'cloud nine' and 'missing' are my suggestions since others might suggest the more popular ones😊
Thank you for getting to this song. I was one of the many who requested this. Her vocals are a masterclass! So angelic, and pure. This one has personal meaning for me, as it reminds me so much of my fiancée who passed away from cancer. I stayed by her side through it all, and the day she passed, this song was playing on the radio as I drove home in tears. I had to pull over. 😢💔
This song is almost 20 years old now and came out when I was in my early 20's. It's a song that defiantly hits harder today. Back then, to me it was just a great song by an awesome singer, now it's a very powerful emotional song. I can now relate to the lyrics, but not just towards a specific loss or relationship with someone, but towards my memories, my moments, and my mind. The older we get, the more the memories hurt, not just the sad and/or bad ones, like losing a loved ones, as I have lost both my parents over the last twelve years, but the good ones as well, like having a wonderful childhood, first getting marriage, your children's births and them being young, these memories of life, moments of time, will never be as great as it once was, as certain moments that will never be experienced again like they were when we lived them. My memories, both happy and sad, are slowly killing me as I can't let go and depend on them so much.
Yes Amy Lee's voice is angelic. One of the best female singers hands down. I've loved this band since the beginning. They actually came out with a new cd a must check out. And this is my fave song by them.
From this same album I recommend "Tourniquet". Also, Amy Lee (lead vocalist) sang a duet on the song "Broken" by the band "Seether", which is amazing, too.
“I’ve tried so hard to tell myself that you’re gone. But though you’re still with me I’ve been alone all along.” One of the most powerful lyrics I have ever heard.
She did a song for a movie called "Speak to Me". Watch the video. Gets me every time. Then, watch some of their rocking stuff with the full band. They are so underrated.
Evanescence blew up from the Little Rock Arkansas local band/club scene in the late 90’s early 2000’s. They got huge when one of their songs was put on the Daredevil movie soundtrack. Their first album will blow your socks off!
Yeppers. Powerful song. Go back and give it another listen. My sister sang this at a family funeral and the tears were flowing from even the older folks who would never, ever have heard this song. Haunting and so loving.
For the "record": "The lyrics of the song refer to a spirit that haunts the memory of a grieving loved one. Similar to several other songs written by [Ben] Moody, the lyrics of the song are based on a short story he had previously written. According to Lee, it was "Ben [Moody]'s song." Moody said that the song talks about "a spirit staying with you after its death and haunting you until you actually wish that the spirit were gone because it won't leave you alone." He also stated in the booklet of Fallen that he dedicated the song to his grandfather, Bill Holcomb. In "My Immortal", Lee expresses her feelings through the line, "Though you're still with me / I've been alone all along.A writer for IGN said that "'My Immortal' is a song of pain and despair caused by the loss of a family member or very close friend and how it drove her [Lee] to the edge of insanity." (source is wikipedia[dot]org)
Bro. Amy Lee's voice is one of a kind. And this song is my all time favorite. Thank you for featuring Evanescence on your channel. By the way I've just subscribed to your channel. Thanks and God Bless ✌️
This song and call me when you are sober used to be the songs that hurt the most they cut me like a knife reminded me of my first love, we are now married and doing great but there was YEARS of pain.
Great reaction as always! Her voice is amazing. My two favourite songs of hers that seem to go under the radar a lot are "October" and "Anywhere". Both such beautiful songs, really can't go wrong with any of her stuff though.
Noble Peace Prize version of Lost in Paradice. Probably the best live version of it she's very done. Amy has said it's one of the wow moments of her whole career doing that gig.
I think we can all agree that this song, her voice, & her presence are on another level. But whoever was in charge of wardrobe & just all the visual of it, needs a raise. I loved this song when it came out (apx. 25 yrs ago) but I'd never seen the video. I love the woodland nymph aesthetic, especially when she was in the tree. She looks, & sings, like an angel O:)
Plot twist: Her feet never touch the ground in this video, meaning she is a ghost.. You should check out "Lithium", "Going under", "Everybody's fool" and "Call Me When You're Sober" next
The concept of the video is that she is a spirit and is tormented and trapped there because his love for her keeps her there. Notice how her feet never touch the ground and the kids around her ignore her.
Evanescence and Amy Lee s talent are way underrated nowadays and it’s so sad 😢 Their latest album, The Bitter Truth (2021) got 2 VMA nominations but overall, the media don’t pay attention to them anymore 😢 The intro: Artifact/the turn + broken pieces shine is one heck of a comeback and worth reacting to
Amy’s feet never touch the ground in the video to symbolize she is a spirit and the guy is wearing funeral clothes. She a spirit who is still around him trapped by her love for him and can’t escape it. Beautiful song and beautiful voice. The chorus is her saying she is with him wiping his tears and comforting his fears. You still have all of me means she is still with him in spirit 100%.
Call Me When You're Sober, Lost in Paradise, My Heart is Broken and Broken. Amy Lee sings Broken with her then boyfriend, Shawn Morgan from the band, Seether.
Amy Lee is amazing, she's in a league of her own. Already plenty of good recommendations down here. If you haven't heard Ke$ha's "Praying", check it out. Girl can sing.
Please, Adogg, check out Sharon den Adel and her band, Within Temptation. She, Amy Lee, and NIghtwish's Floor Jansen, are the pinnacle of their profession. A great Within Temptation song to start with is "The Purge". Sharon is now in her late 40s, and I swear the woman does not age.
LIKE THIS COMMENT IF U WATCHED THE ENTIRE VIDEO AND U HIT THAT LIKE BUTTON.
Always!😁
Of course, I always watch til the end :)

Another great song and video is "Evanescence - Going Under"
You HAVE TO check out Hello by Evanescence! She wrote that song for her sister that passed away. It will hit you as hard as this one! It’s my absolute favorite song! My immortal is a very close second!

My Heart Is Broken
Agree. Definitely check out Going Under. She's a babydoll too.. beautiful woman.
Amy did a song with Seether called Broken and another with Lizzy Hale called Break In.. both are great songs
Lizzy Hale doing Amy's part for broken with Seether is pretty awesome as well...
Isn't Break in great!
Break In is a POWERHOUSE vocal performance!
Hale doesn't have what it takes to stand up next to Amy. I don't care for break in.
Except she didn't write My Immortal, Ben did.

She's pitch perfect and she's so beautiful. Her voice and her eyes!
The first time I heard this song I cried like a baby. Her voice is like an angel and u feel every single note she sings. She is simply fantastic.
I think Amy Lee's voice can best be described as haunting & hypnotic. You should check out "Call me when you're sober" next.
Great reaction!
100% agree...her eyes too. I know it's got nothing to do w/looks. But you'd have to be blind not to notice. i find myself in a trance lol
Amy is a fantastic singer! I’ve had the pleasure of meeting her mom a few times many years back and she is the sweetest lady.
Yes! Amy Lee's amazing voice and Evanescence. Awesome song.🎶💯🔥💖
Yes Amy Lee's voice is angelic. One of the best female singers hands down. I've loved this band since the beginning. They actually came out with a new cd a must check out. And this is my fave song by them.

Her voice is simply angelic.
I think Going Under would be the best next song. Amazing.
Alex Hefner got over 1 million views for this song.
Noble Peace Prize version of Lost in Paradice. Probably the best live version of it she's very done. Amy has said it's one of the wow moments of her whole career doing that gig.

In the video it was made so her feet don't touch the ground.
Evanescence
Going Under
Any song from this CD, is excellent. Enjoy the listen. Peace and bright blessings.
