This thing's like the JDM Batmobile with all that black, gonna look mean on track! Fingers are crossed for you guys but I have faith you'll make it. Your pace of progress has been crazy, I've had a bunch of small stuff I've been trying to knock out this month and I'm still not done, lol.
Did you guys consider the EVO IX brembo upgrade? Much more up-to-date caliper imo and much cheaper (at the time I did mine anyway). I did this conversion upgrade on my 89 GTR. I also did the STI brembo upgrade for the rears. Not necessarily an upgrade, but I just wanted the rears to be Brembo matching so-to-speak. The front conversion kit was through some company in Australia. I forgot from who. It's been some years.
@BrianJannusch ah, gotchya. That makes sense. Man, I wish I could remember the company. Years after I did it, they even sent out emails to the customers that bought the front Evo IX caliper / Evo X rotor upgrade and asked if we would all be interested in them developing a rear kit from the Evo IX being that the Evo IX rears are apparently better then the STI rears. Which I believe they are just based on the rotor on the Evo IX being bigger.
I'm currently doing this to my R32 GT-R. I noticed that in the front, the hard brake line that goes from the braided line to the caliper itself is different from the OEM brakes to the R33 ones. Did you notice the same thing? If so, how did you solve this issue?

Wow cool man I love this rebuild series’s now this is great content
Thanks! It’s coming together. Lots of little things to do now and it’s a Skyline so I’m sure there’s more unexpected things to come
GTR is looking sweet Bryan 👏🏼. I keep eyeing one or the white Evo IV’s on the webpage 😬.
Thanks! and we have a few of them for sale! email me if you see one you like

That’s true but I had access to a lot of skyline parts so R33 made for the easier move, especially with the brackets being the same.

Do these mount right to the r32 hubs without brackets ?

My car already had different brake lines on it so it just hooked right up with no issue but otherwise yes I would have needed new lines
The OEM calipers look the same as the Brembo calipers.
Thea are bigger. And the discs are bigger.
The OEM caliper are made but Sumitomo, are an okay caliper but the brembo is a bit bigger and looks nicer in my opinion
