Not if u want to bring someone to my religion. I want a nice Indian girl to married. But I don't want to change religion. So u can have ungodly friends. Because eventually someone can become a godly friend. I have friends who are hindues and don't want to cut them. Because I love them. Eventually they will find thier way. Jesus said to love everyone even your enemies. Chose to forgive and love. I am not going to cut anyone off.

I had a friend for almost 10 years, and I broke our friendship because he was influenced by bad company of friends who slander anyone (including me) who they don't like. I almost lost trust of other people due to what my friend did to me. But God reminded me of 1 Corinthians 6:14. That is not just applicable in courtship, but on what circle of friends you shall choose.
You did the wise and right thing. Because whether you are a follower of Christ or of this worldly world, it is always wise to cut ties with wicked people.
Or people who just slander
Bro I need ur help I have a friend who is with me 7th nd 8th class later he changed to other iit class I haven't talked with him until my intermediate College later he too joined in and again started with him njoying bad company later I've spent 1½ yr we got close as best friends after I know it's not good having courtship with non believers I haven't talked with him for 6 months I told him a reason that I was preparing for my medical scl entrance test so pls don't disturb me later after completing he's again entering into my life wt should I say to him nd stay away from him.I even ignored my best Frnd stay away from him who's a Hindu but also a christian too by his mother after i got realised he's a good one pls reply 😢
Your message Pastor David reminds me of my ex husband who was born again then later turned to darkness and became very worldly. He confessed to me he had a demon attached who would talk to him and hide in the closet. I tried everything as God’s servant to help him come back to God but he told me he chose not to have a relationship with God.
He would hurt me emotionally and was seeing someone else so we divorced and he went to live with his girlfriend he cheated on me with. Once he left, I could feel my house with this brightness and peace I can’t explain.

People claim that Matthew 5 and 19 allow remarriage but Jesus never said so, Mark 10:1-12 talks more about it and so does
1st Corinthians 5-7, and Romans 7:1-3.

This is making me think deeper about a friend I have been best friends with since I was 3. We went to preschool together and went to church together until she moved to a different church. Now I thank God for letting us be friends our whole lives.
God led me through a season of pruning; this included cutting off certain friendships. Thank you for this vid.

Amen, Some friendships are good and you can influence them with God, some they influence you the wrong way. You can turn the influence around but some people you need to cut off.

Literally went through this three days ago. For more context, the bible says not to be unequally yoked with non believers. The bible does not say this only applies romantically, but in friendship as well. The yoke symbolizes emotional connection and closeness that influences each other, and it's a dangerous place to be.

After my pastor taught on Godly and ungodly relationships I new ties had to be broken. I prayed "Holy Spirit I'm ready when you are for this ungodly relationship to end." After a few days I had a dream they cursed me one last time and they haven't called or contacted me since.

Exactly! To win souls, this is the perfect answer. I discovered that I have the gift of exhortation, thanks to my Spiritual leader at church. It is important to use this gift. Although I keep denying it because of my experiences, the pain and the torment. But my empathy increases towards hopeless people, those who need encouragement and comfort. Despite being a sinner who believes in God. I can be with or encourage backslidders to repent and take the cross with them (it's actually a struggle, the narrow path is tough) and encourage those who don't believe in God to be closer to Him and watch them grow in faith.
My closest friends are all Christians, people I grew up with in the church. However, I also have friends from college who are unbelievers. I pray for them every single night and work to present an image of Christianity that glorifies God. Still trying to get them to come to church though. They haven't yet.
Only Jesus can bring them to the light. I’m not sure bringing people to church will do it though because a lot of it will just go in and out their ears. It’s better to just set a great example and not make it so much of “because I’m a Christian.” Let them figure it out why you are that way, I think.

My wife wasn’t a believer for the 1st decade until I started showing her how God is working in our life & now she sees God everywhere. PTL for Gods true love for us…
This is a Biblical and proper approach, the only thing I would add, is that we are going to be surrounded by non-believers are whole lives. We should be engaging them in conversation and with service, letting our light shine before men (everyone), and often that looks like friendship. Sometimes it’s just chatting with the neighbor or the Amazon delivery guy, so conversation and friendship is encouraged! But if the darkness is gaining influence, then you should step back. But we have to go people. A good example, in college I had to step away from being roommates with guys who weren’t walking with God. I couldn’t have the partying in my living space, but I still made contact with them, witness to them, played sports with them. I just couldn’t do certain things with them.

I’m so thankful that there are teachers of Gods Word like you brother David who still speak Gods truth and all of it not just the feel good parts. The hardest thing is, if you work in a same team and you have to see and talk with them everyday. Yet you know deep within that they are influencing you. More then you influencing them.😢
If they are influencing you find a job where the people there share the same values as you. Or just simply don’t let them influence you, and instead influence them. That doesn’t mean you force your values on them …just stick to your values and they will eventually respect that about you.
I started a Job recently and it seems to me like 80% of the people who work there blaspheme God and curse soo much like it’s soo hard being in that atmosphere for soo long, and the wild thing is I literally just started, it’s a fast food restaurant and my first day I worked about 6 hours. The wild thing is I had gotten a call today for a job I inquired about 2 weeks ago, but I can’t help but believe that God wants me to stay with these people for a season and be a light to them, that they may see and glorify God. Then depart
@@Telepathythinker the only way to know is to pray and be patient. Now , it does say in the Bible to be wise so if the other job who called you from inquiring two weeks ago is a better job which will probably have people with better values , then it’s probably wise to go with that job.

Wow my boyfriend and I were just talking about this, and the importance of having Godly friendships!! Godly friendships can be so powerful and transformative in your walk with Christ when that person has the Holy Spirit. I’ve definitely experienced it and it’s amazing!!! Pray for Godly friendships and God will send them also try taking the initiative, step out on faith and invite a believer you may not know into a friendship because God gave you a mouth to initiate it.
