The Chrono series is an absolute masterpiece, not in small part because of its sweeping musical score. Every time I hear this song, I get goosebumps. I have it playing in my earphones when I run, when I study, when I need a boost of confidence. Kudos to Yasonori Mitsuda for composing such an inspirational piece of music, and thanks Tommy! You were the MAN on G4 back in the day.
You guys do know the guitar player is Tommy Talarico...His the creator and CEO of this concert and his one of the worlds most popular video game music composers, hosted Electric playground(an old video game show) and he is ALL OVER the gaming scene etc etc etc.... @angelofphoenix1983 no I particularly like the sounding of the violin guy starting 1:30. this guy does not fiddle and whatnot, which makes his playing sound really pure and clean. if you see other lives where different guys play the violin for this song, I think you will notice the difference. I know nothing about playing violin, and what the other guys are doing may not necessarily be a bad thing, and it may just as well be the difference of taste, but his violins sounds the best to me.

I dunno why but I kind of hate the electric guitar guy and found the ending really tacky. All of that even though it's one of my favorite intros of all time. It was still good, just alittle annoying. The only comparable thing would be if someone managed to mess with the opening to FFVIII.
Didn't like it. While the performance was well done, it just didn't feel the same when the piece got changed. No chime, no solo towards the end with the flute, instead it got taken over by the violin. Violin was too high... I always believed that if you're to perform a piece, you stay true to the original content. This didn't.
