I'm having trouble with this part of the tutorial because when I move on to the second section and drag in the post content widget it displays a duplicate of the first section created in the first half of the tutorial. Can anybody help me figure out why its duplicating the first section instead of showing the same filler text that shows in the tutorial when he adds the second section.
3:30 Featured image container stretches the entire width of the page (even when zoomed out). When I add 10px container margin (right and left) ONLY margin to the left is applied.
I have a problem in the Post Navigation. Eventhough I have followed ALL instructions, including creating several 'test posts' the navigaion shows ONLY "previous project" and I am unable to browse it, nor go forward or backwards. Can somebody help out please?
If you are previewing the first post, you will only see 'Previous Project' because there is no previous post to display. If you preview the second post, it should show both previous project and next project.
Nice tutorial. Does it make a difference to set the featured image on a section instead of the column? Do we need to change the VH in that case? Also the dimension of this image is at 1024px? It would be a great idea to create a separate tutorial about the use of EM, REM, PX, VH & %, advanced settings so as to understand the use of each of it on our designs. Best regards.
@JJessePeterson from the WordPress Admin > Posts, click *Edit* on any post. On the right panel, can add both the Featured image and the Excerpt to your post.
Hi! Even if I followed aaaall the steps exactly, I'm not able to fix the responsive way (in mobile version) of the portfolio gallery. It's not alined but the layout goes in two columns. How can I do? Thank you in advance
you are using an empty column to align the post navigation... in the " Improve Your Elementor Skills by Avoiding 6 Common Mistakes - Monday Masterclass" you said not to, and to use margin and padding instead. I'm confused...
I also followed every instruction including deleting and starting over multiple times and still cannot get the post navigation to work either. Anyone figure this out yet?
The tutorial shows that when the Post Nav widget is dragged and dropped to the single post template (5:15), the post nav shows up as Prev and Next. However, because this is a Single Post Template, you only see Previous. To see it working, you need to create at least three posts in Wordpress Dashboard (outside of Elementor). You need at least three posts. When you view the post with 'Edit with Elementor', the post should have the Single Post Template design. If you are viewing the first post, you will only see 'Previous Project' because there is no previous post to display. If you view the second post, it should show both previous project and next project. Hope this helps.
@@America781 In the Wordpress Dashboard, click on Posts on the left hand side menu (under Home). It has a pin beside it. You will see and 'Add New' option in a rectangle box beside Post at the top left hand side of the page. Click on Add New. That will bring you to the WordPress Editor.
I am having some similar issues to other commentors. I am stuck between this video and the next video in the tutorial. I have built the single post template exactly as described in this video and created each of the new posts. When I move on to the next video to "edit post", there is no evidence of my single post template. My post is not displaying the featured image or the excerpt. The only thing the post will display is text entered into WordPress. I am also having an issue with the post navigation widget. Another commentor suggested adding multiple posts would fix this, but I am still having an issue.
I too, think this guy needs off the Red Bull and slow down a bit! I had the same issue that it would only show the previous post. Once I saved and view the page, not from this screen it worked. Nothing shows up on the "excerpt" I'm assuming that is because there is no blog article.
Hi Lukas, thanks for sharing your experience. Our newer tutorials go at a slower pace, but if you find that a video moves too quickly you can change the playback speed to slow it down.
@@Elementor Thank you. I slowed down the video, but some moves are "cut out" from it, so it's really like stop & go and hard to follow. Just FYI, not a big deal, but could be better. Thanks!

Bring back the lady. This dude talks way to fast and some text only stay on screen around 10ms. It's like you only have one frame to pause it on in order to see what's going on.

So awesome! I would just add some left right top padding around 75px for the post content

@Elementor - can you explain how to set the featured image?

Your tutorials is like a sprint. This is not for someone, who doesn't know the elementor yet.

While I commend you for your video, I feel as if you just breezed through it without really explaining the what and why of certain features.
yep. it's not actually a lesson, it's more to do as he says.
