Crazy to see the water that color at James.
Yeah I'm used to it being crystal clear there
Congrats on reaching 6k subscribers.
Thanks it took 8 years to get to it
great video, i like catching smallmouths keep them coming
Thanks I need to catch more smallmouth before there's none left in NC
@@landonmoore76Why is that? Because of the spots?
Yes the spots take them out. It'll take 10 to 15 years but it'll happen. Only a few places spots haven't got into like lake lure
The water is still like that around here also. I'm glad you got a smallie. The spots are running great on wattsbar with darker water and cooler temps. Keep making those videos, man. I have been using a white ribbed googin swimbait with a pink jighead. Spots are attacking as soon as it hits the water.
Thanks I'll have to try that. Muddy water can be fun
Was definately a tough day. I went to linville access and didn’t even get my first fish til 12:45.
I guess you found the big smallmouth. Good finish never give up
Great Video.
Have you ever fished Jordan Lake near Chapel Hill?
How does it compare to Norman?
I have never fished Jordan Lake but I know it's one if the best lakes in the state for big bass. Compared to Norman is the opposite I would say. Norman is plum full of spots and easy to catch fish but hard to catch and big bass. Jordan seems like it's hard to get bites most of the time but you could catch a giant
Lake James is a tough spot to fish.
It can be good I've heard but I guess you have to know that lake good
@@landonmoore76 i have had luck around that island by the launch/bridge and the west branch of the lake. Otherwise alot of time spent driving around scanning and not finding fish :(
Any regrets going from a big boat to a yak? I’m thinking about doing the same.
Not really sometimes I wish I could move spots quicker and fish with people. I like not breaking down ever and not worrying be stranded or trailer issues. No gas. I'm too poor for a boat
