She did well. Her expressions aren't as intense as jurina's, nor her gestures look as pretty as sakura's. However overall, i think she is the most decent out of all japanese participants. Looks pretty, can sing pretty well, she dances well to the beat, she was able to maintain that exact expression throughout the song which is great. I think japanese trainees are more professional onstage, even with sloppy dance movements. Experience is indeed something else.

She's not really underrated. Everyone knows she can sing. But as I say, it's often MMA vs WWE. Some people could be good at both, but most people would say that the ability to win in MMA is a true talent and WWE is just a farce. But that doesn't mean that everyone who can beat someone up is fit to be The Rock. Miyu is really only winning the room when she's singing. Which is maybe 15% or so of what she has to do. Sure, she seems like a very sweet and nice person... but Japanese idol work generally desires over the top personalities- especially for a group like AKB which is so large. If your shtick is that you're a good singer that's only going to get you pulled out of the shadows for singing contests. That doesn't mean you can't be nice... but you still have to be willing to butt into conversations and be able to riposte teasing from elder members to get attention... and in the end she's often the quietest in the room.
She used to be the ace(most pushed) of the 9th generation but I heard from fans from that time that she didn't want to be so they decided to push other members instead into the limelight(eg. Yokoyama Yui and now graduated Shimazaki Haruka, one of the closest generations too)

She re-arranges the songs, record it herself, and upload it to her channel. She has complete studio toolsets. Learn how to edit audio and video. She's smart. She goes to college; Keio University SFC (in Japan, there aren't so many idols go to college). Is there any reason for not supporting her?
After watching her fancam I understand what the judges mean by the japanese trainees having a unique charm. Her expressions don't look forced, she looks confident and comfortable and looks like she's honestly having a good time. Her whole performance looks natural and bright and that's not always something that can be taught, but comes through experience. I hope that Miyu debuts because i'd love to see more of her in the future!!

キュートな外見からは想像もつかないくらいパワフルな歌声にダンスも無駄がなく綺麗✨真面目に取り組む姿勢もすごく好感が持てるし、カメラ目線のアピール度もあざとくない感じが凄く好き❣️トータル的にセンスがあり才能のある娘だと思う。みゆちゃんはもっと注目されるべき！
