Meet Lilia Calcaben, a 77-year-old retired bank employee and teacher. While searching for a commercial-free radio station, she stumbled upon DYFR and has been a dedicated listener and supporter since 1977.
Ms. Calcaben reflects on her past experiences and how she navigates life as a single senior citizen today. Throughout it all, she shares how God showed His miracles and grace.
For nearly fifty years, DYFR has been known by both believers and non-believers in Cebu City as “The Life-Changing Radio.” In 2018, the station underwent a format change to Christian contemporary music to minister more to the young people of Metro Cebu. It stands as the only FEBC Philippines station with 24/7 broadcasts.
