I am immensely happy for you, that you finally have the space to show your full potential. Your shrimproom is cool AF 🙂For the foreseeable future I will do my best to spread the word.

Very nice! Will be cool to see where your colonies are going in the coming years! You can really be selective now with so many more tanks, pick the right females and an amazing male
The tank rack looks great. I especially like ten gallon tanks in the orientation you have set up. I'm thinking the same below a 40 gallon in getting ready to set up in a month or two. Pretty scary using magnets to attach the panels for easy access and clean look.
For the currently empty tank I have a suggestion.!, Red devil X aura blue tiger X red ruby extreme X super crystal black to get a copper colored shrimp as a potential end result.
I am so happy you're switching to Ada soil. I have given Brightwell an honest try, and just I don't think it's great for higher end shrimp. K.I.S.S. Good soil, good food, and a regular consistent maintenance schedule you can't go wrong.
I’m excited for the Ada, I’m hoping I can grow out my colonies more with it. I feel that my colonies are mostly juveniles, my adults don’t stay alive too long .
Maybe it shows that I have poor taste, but I like those low grade orange eye blue tigers. I just like to see the dark stripes on a light body. But then I like all tiger shrimp. Good job and thanks for sharing!
@@PoseidonsPets - Yes, I was pretty certain that those light ones would be culled by when you're trying to breed a high grade colony of orange eyed blues.
Looking good, I think you have the pawfly air pump? I have the 5 valve one and was wondering how many 10gal I can manage on one pump. Right now I am at 5 tanks.
Very nice. Couple of quick questions: For metal shelving do you just look for "heavy duty", or is there a specific weight rating?. Is the plywood just to help with weight distribution/leveling? I see you're getting lots of use out of your 3D printer, those grates/shelves look very good. Your Shrimp Room looks very nice, congrats!
Thanks! When looking at shelving I try to stay away from the lower quality shelving that has the plastic clips for shelf holders. You want something that has cross beams and is rated for a good amount of weight. I put the plywood down to help distribute things a little better. I didn’t like the idea of putting the tanks directly on the wire rack.
I was in the middle of a water change lol. I change a gallon at a time and drip the water back in slowly. I use gallon jugs with airlines to drip the water back in
@@SalamanderFangskin no problem! I would love to have an auto top off system. Just don’t feel like drilling the tanks and I don’t trust float valves that much
@@PoseidonsPets As I am starting a pico reef aquarium, I have seen that many people use hamster drinking bottles 😂 I think I'll try something like that maybe if nothing else works.
I have a few methods to my madness with cycling tanks. I like to add existing plants from established tanks. I shake out a used sponge into the new tank. Add snails, brightwell florin bacter7, and florin multi. Let it go for a few weeks to a month and stock a few shrimp to test it out. 6-8 weeks is usually the sweet spot where things are balanced out and you shouldn’t see deaths

Thanks Tater! It’s been fun getting it setup
Looking good!

Thanks! Hope it goes well for you!
Looking good, lots of tanks to play with fun new projects.
Absolutely! Always new stuff to try!
Love the video you should eventually sell the shrimps that you breed I would love to buy a couple blue bolts
Let me know when you are ready. I have tons of them.
Updateception!!!!!
Hahahahaha! It was an update within and update! Queues the twilight zone theme!
looking good Kyle. getting jealous
Thanks Jamie! That’s ok! I’m jealous of your prolific tanks! Lol

That sounds like a cool cross for sure! I have been wanting to get more tiger shrimp. They seem to be doing well for me.
I really like the new rack setup!! I’m going to be stealing the idea of using corrugated plastic between each level to block the light! Love it!!!
Works well, pretty sure it was Jamie A who gave me the idea!

That’s ok! The best shrimp is the one you like. I like the lighter colors with the dark stripes too but those won’t win any awards!

Thanks! I like to run 3-4 with those pumps. Anymore and I’m not getting enough airflow

what are the containers you have on top of your aquariums? 15:46 🤔Is it for the auto-top-off? if so, how do they work? do you have any tutorial?
