Petrol: The highest-performance version of the New C4 Cactus is available with the turbocharged PureTech 130 S&S mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The PureTech 110, also turbocharged, is available with a 5-speed manual gearbox (PureTech 110 S&S manual) or the EAT6 6-speed automatic gearbox for maximum pleasure and comfort at the wheel (PureTech 110 S&S EAT6). The entry-level model is powered by the PureTech 82 with a manual gearbox.
Diesel: The New C4 Cactus is available from launch with the BlueHDi 100 manual and the BlueHDi 100 S&S manual. In autumn 2018, it will be available with a diesel engine combined with an automatic gearbox, the BlueHDi 120 S&S EAT6, for high-mileage drivers preferring automatic transmissions.
For world export markets, these seven engines are rounded out by the BlueHDi 100 S&S ETG6 diesel.
COMPACT AND SPACIOUS
With its full forms, horizontal boot inspiring robustness and protection, and horizontal waistline conferring hatchback body styling, the New C4 Cactus sits firmly on its four wheels located at the four corners. Boasting an optimised architecture based on the PSA Group's PF1, the New C4 Cactus has a wheelbase of 2.60 m, typical of compact hatchbacks and ensuring generous spaciousness for all passengers. Overhang is reduced for extra agility and handling in town. With its compact exterior dimensions (4.17 m long, 1.71 m wide), the New C4 Cactus returns to the source of compact hatchbacks, offering spaciousness and true versatility in town, suburban areas and out on the open road.

With the aerodynamic body and lightness of the Peugeot 2008 SUV, the broad range of Euro 6 engines makes it suitable for every purpose while optimising fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. These emissions range from 90 to 114g/km is due to specifying four Best-in-Class engines in their segment.
Entirely designed by the Group, the new generation of PureTech 3-cylinder petrol engines is recognised for its properties. Ensuring high-level driving pleasure while optimising fuel consumption and emissions, these PureTech engines are remarkably light and efficient. Compared with a similar 4-cylinder engine, the naturally-aspirated version is 21kg lighter and the turbo-charged version 12kg lighter.
This turbo-charged version is equipped with high-pressure direct injection (at 200 bars) and a new-generation high-performance turbo (running at 240,000rpm). It delivers high torque for its engine capacity, with 205Nm for the 110hp version and 230Nm for the 130hp version at 1,750rpm. In addition, the PureTech engine delivers exceptional performance, with constant power up to 6,500rpm, and remarkable acoustic comfort.
This versatile 3-cylinder engine can be combined with three choices: 5-speed manual gearbox, 6-speed manual gearbox or 6-speed automatic gearbox. This is the new automatic gearbox called EAT6 for Efficient Automatic Transmission 6-speed. Its Quickshift technology guarantees top-of-the-range driving pleasure due to fluid and rapid gear changes. Moreover, its CO2 emissions are considerably reduced as a result of the reduction in internal friction and internal slippage due to the lock-up torque converters.
The petrol range of the new SUV 2008 includes a choice of five engines:
1.2L PureTech 82, 5-speed manual gearbox, 4.9l/100km, with CO2 at 114g/km,
1.2L PureTech 82, 5-speed electronically-controlled gearbox, 4.4l/100km, with CO2 at 102g/km,
1.2L PureTech 110 S&S, 5-speed manual gearbox, 4.4l/100km, with CO2 at 103g/km,
1.2L PureTech 110 S&S, 6-speed automatic gearbox (EAT6), 4.8l/100km, with CO2 at 110g/km, Best-in-Class in its segment,
1.2L PureTech 130 S&S, 6-speed manual gearbox (EAT6), 4.8l/100km, with CO2 at 110g/km, Best-in-Class in its segment.
The BlueHDi 1.6L Diesel engine is an exclusive combination of the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology and additivated Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). This engine is characterised by its pleasure to drive and record low fuel consumption, regardless of the version - 75, 100 and 120hp.
