    Impressive video! I agree, Bali has a rich culture, friendly people, and delicious food, but the beaches can be disappointing with cleanliness issues and rocky terrain. Thanks for sharing your experience!

      Well said! They have so much to offer. They just need to raise some prices through taxes to use that money to clean the beaches and maintain them.

    Lovely footages of this amazing place. What I really like with your presentation is sharing your personal experience of the place without sugar coating. Like the beaches, you showed them as is where rubbish are all over, with vendors selling all sorts of stuff and offering different services. Two thumbs up to your presentation!

    The nature itself looks fantastic. I appreciate the honesty on your experiences. I appreciate some of the architecture. Ah a fellow Davinci Resolve user. Those views across the island are superb. Yeah not surprised that the tourist spots are madhouses. Bummer about the beaches themselves. That's what happens near the cities though. Thankfully you put out other places to go nearby

      They have their reasons to make it more difficult to enter because some of the drunken party tourists have behaved badly at these temples 🛕

    Bali definitely is beautiful!!! I had the same issue with vendors approaching you at the beach when I was in the Bahamas. It's annoying but also understandable for trying to take advantage of tourists in a lower economic area. I was very surprised by the condition of the beaches. Thanks for sharing this information cause that's really good to know if you intend to travel there and have never been

    love the honesty and telling us how it is, I think thats the best way to go - genuine... good budget $200 a week? My friend says its getting way over priced and was way better 5 years ago. What's your opinion do you think the place is overrated now? My friends said most of the pretty beaches are not there, lines for the natural attractions but then again I havent been there in a long time

    • @paradise-adventures
      @paradise-adventures  Год назад +1

      $200 per week would cover accommodation only. You would need more for transport, food and adventures and whatever else you need. Yeah, it's over crowded, polluted, and traffic is a nightmare. You can hardly call it a paradise these days.

    Thanks for being real here. You are right Bali is no longer the Paradise it once was, the beaches are way to polluted to enjoy your time there and you have to get out of the main areas of Bali now to see the best of Bali. It's just a party holiday destination place now. Digital Nomads exiting quickly these days.

    Bali is a nice place to visit with rich cultule, nice people, variety of food but I have to agree with you. The beaches are not clean and also rocky. It's not good for swim. I find it's hard to relax too much sales pressure. Thank you so much for sharing.😊👍

    I am considering accepting a job offer to teach in Bali. I will be honest, it pays 20m /month.
    I have worked in Malaysia & Thailand…so I know that salary would be sufficient there.
    But, I am really unsure if it is suitable for Bali…can you give me any advice?
    I will be looking for a 1/2 western 1/2 local diet, a semi-decent apartment & a gym membership. That’s pretty much my lifestyle in a nutshell lol!

    • @paradise-adventures
      @paradise-adventures  Год назад +1

      If you are looking for clean beaches, great food and a more welcoming cultural experience than I would choose Thailand. Bali is more for young tourist who want to party as it's packed with beach bars and beach clubs. If you spent two months you could see all it has to offer. Thailand however there is so much to see there that you could live in different parts of the country for a year and still have things to see and do.

    For the digital nomad, is there any type of work visa needed to actually work in the country? And this is exactly what I imagined Bali to be which is why it isn’t high up on my list of places to visit. And oh no to the beaches. And I can’t believe that guy waited for you to finish to try to sell you something 🤦🏽‍♀️

    • @paradise-adventures
      @paradise-adventures  Год назад

      Digital nomads can travel on a tourist visa. As they're not taking any jobs from the country they're travelling in, instead they are bringing in foreign income and spending it in that country. So it's actually welcomed. There are very few countries that have specific digital nomad visa, but there are many countries working on them currently.
