There something so perfect about the way JK Simmons says "I know" when Lucan says Omni-Man deserves death. Either it means he knows he deserves death because he can't shake/is so torn about his Viltrumite heritage and upbringing and how he has failed his mission by not abandoning his post and fathering a child with what Viltumites would consider an "unworthy" species. Or because he is subconsciously just as torn about what he did to Mark and Debbie and that he feels guilty about what he did on Earth, as well as what he caused on this planet. Which is supported by his outburst at Mark about how he shouldn't feel the way he should. Or more accurately, it's probably both. Either way, there is such an honest and matter of fact way about that line delivery and line itself that's perfect.
Easily the craziest episode of this season thus far! I'm assuming Mark is going to go back home, read as many of Nolan's books as possible to possibly rescue him, or find out some way to protect Earth against the Viltriumites.

He just needs to figure that out , and he can be a really powerful fighter for a viltumrite his age (since they get stronger with age )
yea that's what it mainly is. Nolan explained it in the first season, growing up you're trained to not pee yourself and eventually it becomes normal or second nature to not pee yourself. so him learning to fly would be like unlearning to not pee yourself on purpose. so him getting stronger in his fight was basically opening himself up to the dormant Viltrumite DNA in his body, tapping into those natural instincts of survival of the fittest. Kinda like how Superman is at first a weaker version of a Kryptonian because he'd grown up as a human being, subconsciously suppressing his Kryptonian capabilities. but as he started using them more and more and kept pushing himself to his limits, he got stronger and more powerful. especially on the brink of death, whether it was himself or others.
What’s crazy was seeing that Omni man was thinking about committing suicide in that black hole. And the only thing that sucked was they didn’t adapt Omni man line in the comics when he was taking the viltrumites by himself in the and he said “did you know the empire was sending you to your deaths when they sent you here or are you starting to realize that now” And I just realized Nolan told mark to read his books and Debbie just got rid of them
Spoilers: I’m pretty sure (it’s been a minute since I read the comics) that art has the books and in the books mark learns about space rider and some dinosaur people that basically helps mark

Yup. Clancy Brown also played The Kurgan in the first Highlander movie. Also, Lucan (Steve Harvey) is voiced by Phil Lamar who did Green Lantern John Stewart in Justice League Unlimited and he’s also the voice of Samurai Jack. Such a great voice actor
And Kregg is voiced by Clancy Brown (Professor Brink from Gen V and Lex Luthor from Superman the Animated Series and Justice League/Justice League Unlimited)
This was my favourite episode of all the seasons and I loved the breakdown 👌🏾. Loved the music running over the vocals at the beginning to signify when depressed people talking day to day just sounds like noise 👌🏾
I’ve seen this from a lot people, but a Viltrumite kryptonite isn’t sound it’s a very specific frequency that fucks with the equilibrium which helps them fry properly and it’s not like an instant KO it just hurts a lot
To be clear cloning isn’t a large scale thing that just anybody can do remember the Mauler twins are geniuses expert in their field of cloning it’s white robot someone Cecil considered a genius had to go to them, instead of doing it himself.

This episode was pretty emotional and damn J.K. Simmons really killed it as Omni-Man.
It sounds like he isn’t even trying at some parts.. in a good way (I think) it just sounds so effortless from him.
JK Simmons is fantastic man and plays him in MK1.
Man Steven Yeun killed it this episode. You could feel the emotions boiling up in him this episode as he dealt with his pops.
