I’m so happy to see LbrosFilms back, I missed them. I still have so much nostalgia towards the Walter and Zilla series. I’ve had my own Zilla puppet since the beginning of my collection because of that series.

I found the full body and standard hand puppet Zillas in my local charity shop and was blown away that they exist! So happy I picked them up and to see this video shedding some light on them.

Well there are segments where Bodoque a red rabbit character goes around the world learning about many things. In one he's at a museum where he meets a Dinosaur character that teaches him about fossils and such. But the thing is, they straight up use this Godzilla puppet as the Dinosaur character in the show. (with no alterations) So in a sence, Godzilla made an appearance on the show.
I dunno if I recalled having one, but I sure do find these Zilla puppets pretty amusing. Also, for wanting to display glow in the dark stuff. I'd recommend using a black light flashlight. Somehow glow in the dark stuff absorbs the black light and makes them glow out really well.

During that time period Jurassic Park released finger puppets of various dinosaurs & I at least remember a large T-Rex hand puppet. I loved dinosaurs & kaiju as a kid & I still love them at 33.

I had one of the adult Godzilla puppets as a kid. A classmate of mine in primary school gave it to me when they found out that I was a huge Godzilla fan. I loved it & was easily one of my favorite toys. Sadly, I had to eventually send it to the great trash pile in the sky because the corners of the mouth started to rip and I had no real way to fix it. I wish I'd been smart enough to keep it simply as something on my shelf, but kids are dumb. I really enjoyed this little trip down memory lane.
I have the large sound puppet and it has been one of my favorite childhood toys. The small designs are really good and impressive. It’s good for being used as a reference model as well.
I had that Equity toys plush as a kid and it was a childhood favorite for me and my younger brother - it managed to float around my Ma's house until the mid 2000s, after a few of my nephews got to play with it too.

Huh. I actually own one of the non puppet equity toys Godzilla plushies. Still in good condition besides for a tear on the armpit. Got it from a garage sale back in i think 2005 when I was younger.
I also used to have a Godzilla puppet. But one day I woke up in the middle of the night to see my dog chewing on it. Luckily it wasn't completely ruined. But it was now left with a hole in it's face.

I got one of those ReSaurus puppets at a Salvation Army when I was like 6 or 7. I lost it unfortunately when I moved but I still remember it and my grey Buzz Lightyear toy fondly.
I haven’t watched any Walter and Zilla vids in a hot minute. Loved this. I, sadly, never got my hands on any of the ‘98 Godzilla puppets but I DO have one of the velociraptor puppets they mentioned. I call him Ray-Ray and he is a nostalgic treat.
This video made me a bit nostalgic, and it is amazing to see how many puppets have been made of them. And than I realised I have the smal finger puppet of Godzilla, and it is looks the same like the one with the two babies.
these looks awesome as do the lost world puppets, but hot damn if im not kinda bummed that Men In Black (had to be specific because...you know..."MIB") diden't get any puppets would have loved a Mikey, worm guy or Edgar puppet, heck they could probably have made full body ones of those too, but what we got is still good, just a little disappointed
In Australia when I was a kid KFC had a special full hand toy puppet with audio button that came with your meal. I got the godzilla but could never manage to find the baby godzilla. They were reallygood quality from what I remember, but no arms. Was close to your description of a "Normal puppet" in terms of posture. If you haven't already you should check them out! Great vid
