Saw GVSB in '93 at the Casbah, San Diego. I will never forget the amount of rock energy coming off that stage Eli raised his keyboard on the wall while slaaaaaming the keys.

Holy Toledo! Certainly up near the top of the Top Ten list of best bands ever. Prague has always been a hip city - I'm sure most of the audience had heard GVSB records before the concert, but just imagine coming in and hearing them the very first time at THIS concert. Holy sh*t!

First heard them at a show with the Jesus Lizard, Seam, and Driver (that became Seven Storey Mountain) in Phoenix in 93. The biggest band in the world at that time, Nirvana, who performed at the AZ State Fair earlier that evening, even stayed to see that show. So while a lot of great bands played in the desert that night, GVSB blew them all away… their set that evening is still one of the best performances I’ve ever seen. I know this video was 4 years ago, but it’s so great to see them and Soulside still doing it. All the best boys.❤️
