As we mourn the passing away of the Very Reverend Robert Willis, we give thanks to God for enabling so many of us across the world to be blessed by Dean Robert's distinctive pastoral care.

I am so very grateful for the Morning Prayer. It has brought me so much comfort and joy. It has warmed my heart and soul and I am so saddened at Dean Willis' retirement. It has been so special to feel such a beautiful connection across the miles here in Pennsylvania. Dean Willis and Fletcher have been incredible and I am proud to have been a part of the Garden Congregation. I have learned so much and have so enjoyed the animals and nature. 🙏❤🐱

It is with enormous gratitude that I give thanks to Dean Robert and Fletcher who have enriched my life immeasurably. My prayer is that they will be able to continue serving the Garden Congregation from their very own garden along with Tiger and Leo and Mr. Robin. I know they will need a time to rest and regroup but please don't abandon us . . . even if we only have the privilege of your brilliance and creativity and your palpable spirituality only a few mornings a week.

My thoughts and prayers exactly. I could reach out and hug the whole garden congregation and Dean Robert and Fletcher and the Comms Dept of Canterbury Cathedral for 2 years of online Morning Prayer. Doing it oneself without any commentary is just not the same. Also it unifies the Communion, I think. Don't make me cry (again) thinking of Dean Robert's retirement.

The gift to the gardeners in our worldwide congregation is a gift without price … comfort with shared family, inspiration, and companionship right across the world with believers will be very deeply missed. Highest prayer to the two who brought this gift to uncounted thousands.

It's the "light" and "salt" at the fields of You Tube, sermons and morning prayers as well as readings delivered by the Distinguished Dean Willis who taught me and the others listening to God's Words with great joy! Thank you so much!

St Francis of Assisi never retired but England’s equivalent has worked exceptionally hard to carry the many thousands of us during these past two years. A much loved and faithful steward and brother! God grant him abundant blessings.

Dean Robert and Fletcher, have been my constant companions all through lockdown. I have watched every day . Dean Roberts’s explanations on St Johns gospel have been so fresh and thought provoking. I pray that somehow they will both be able to stay together and continue to inspire us each day, even if it’s from a small suburban garden.

I hope that even if Dean Roberts should retire from his deanship at Canterbury Cathedral, that he and Fletcher may find a way to continue with morning prayer. It really is more their work and ministry than something permanently connected to the deanship. Please Dean Robert and Fletcher, please will you consider continuing in some ‘other’ way, perhaps in future (when you’ve had a very, very well deserved holiday!) - please will you consider that🙏 Blessings to you both

My exact thoughts. I do hope they miss us as much as we miss them.
As I add this reply, he is now retired. But the need to continue with Morning Prayer has me back in 2020, going over earlier ones.

I appreciate this gathering and teaching. I have been able to view the recording from Nova Scotia, Canada. How nice to have this connection to another community via my participation in the Garden Congregation. It is lovely to read the comments too; and to see that Dean Robert and Faithful Fletcher are appreciate by so many. We give thanks for this community.

That was a truly wonderful exegesis of the difficult teachings of Jesus which I personally have found very difficult to associate with the JESUS I feel I know and love and I hope serve ❤

So very much miss your morning prayers. Thank goodness for the videos which I have watched many times over. It might not be possible to do them again, especially in the same way, but I can always hope. I pray that your life is going well & that God will present you with new opportunities to witness for Him ❤

What a wonderful surprise on our American Memorial Day to celebrate one more video with you! I kicked it off- thanks to missing hearing the Nov 2, 2020 Morning Prayer mention of Gerard Hughes, S.J. as High Williams. I searched for his book and found the film I've wanted to see again 55 yrs ago: The Holly and the Ivy with a High Williams in it's cast. 1952 vicarage Christmas Eve. It was reissued in 2019 & our SFPL just moved the Christmas films. We found it in Films before 1970. Thanks to you. Blessings on your new abode. You've sustained us for 26 months! You and gifted Fletcher!

Great to see our lovely Dean Robert - much missed in Canterbury but obviously enjoying a well earned retirement. Fletcher - don't know if you have professional training but loved the dissolves and photography absolutely beautiful especially the last shot - magnificent. Might I make a few comments, please stop your participants hitting the table and when outside and it's windy, use a wind muffler. Perhaps because I've spent my whole life in Broadcasting found it very distracting how often the lady hit table.
