Wonderful to see the team again. I listen every day to the morning prayer from Canterbury recorded during the pandemic - I have started again from 2020. Today is the anniversary of the publication of Winnie the Pooh and I am enjoying listening to Dean Robert reading an extract from the book. I wish you would record the whole book to go along with the wind in the Willows, you really do have a talent for bringing those books to life! Sending you my prayers and best wishes for good health peace and happiness x
What a wonderful surprise, Dean Robert and Fletcher! What is not a surprise is you’re both giving support to the Pilgrim Pension in Santiago. You are both so missed. The Garden Congregation was so important to me, as well as many others. Best wishes to all!
Oh, you have said everything I would have said! Dean Robert and Fletcher are missed so very much. So glad I found this this afternoon. Love and best wishes to them both - and the Garden Community - come back soon. Joan in Halifax
The daily news is so difficult to handle that I must start my day viewing Dean Robert's morning prayers. Now I'm finding the current talks he is giving. So grateful
Thank you for this beautiiful vidéo Fletcher. So happy to hear from you again. I was checking the GC Channel regularly. And followed virtualy Dean Robert in churches in the Usa, in Marseille. We miss you both very much. I hope Tiger, Lily and Léo are fine. Kind Regards to you both. Sylvie from France
So good to see the Garden Congregation notice and to learn about this marvellous venture. Thank you Dean Robert and Fletcher for taking the time to make this and share it with us. Pleased to see you looking so well x
Most inspiring, I would love to come and stay and walk some of the Camino: might be a bit old for the whole way!! Wonderful to see Dean Robert again, I think he saved my sanity during Lockdown when I was suddenly the only carer for my disabled husband with dementia. The Garden Congregation brought me back to Christianity.
Very many congratulations on creating the wonderful Casa Anglicana, a warm and welcoming refuge for all! I very much hope that I will be able to come to stay soon! Dean Robert, you are missed daily in this household ... thank you and Fletcher so very much for everything you shared with us over those Garden Congregation years. You are sorely missed!
So pleased to see you are remaining active and well. You touched SO MANY lives and helped us on our journey with the Garden Congregation throughout Covid...a sincere thank you from Canada.
How wonderful to have you back! Hopefully the start of something more regular. The Garden Congregation was such a blessing, led me to discover Canterbury and deeper faith. Blessings to Dean Robert & Fletcher!
It's such a joy to see Dean Robert & Fletcher today, and meet their friends! What a beautiful place, I hope to make the pilgrimage one day. Blessings to all my Garden Congregation friends, and blessings to Dean Robert, Fletcher, and all at the Anglican Pilgrim Centre in Santiago 🙏 🌎 🕊 ❤
I landed on a couple of your sermons in America last Autumn on RUclips....what a joy and always blessed by Dean Robert's insights and explanation iof the gospels and amazingly deft in ever new ways of portraying them. Good to hear Fletcher's interviewing skills too! And the chough's reappearance too!xx God bless you both. Blessings to all that were in the wonderful garden congregation.
How wonderful to see and hear Dean Robert. I pray for you & Fletcher everyday - needless 28:21 to say, you have been sorely missed. Thank you for enriching my spiritual life. I’m forever grateful for my ‘knapsack’ treasures ❤👋🕊
May God bless both you Robert and Fletcher for all the joy the Garden Community has brought (and continues to give) to this world. my heart sings praises for your gifts and work. ❤
So delighted to have the opportunity to see Dean Emeritus Robert and Fletcher at the new facility in Compostela. Your Morning Prayer is greatly missed, but I hope to have more videos of your current projects! Blessings to you!
So great to see and hear Dean Robert again! And Fletcher indirectly through the tasteful camera work. Not to mention the great initiative of the Casa Anglicana. I hope you have more videos coming, and I'm sure I'm not the only one!
What a surprise! My son sent me to You Tube, because of a talk about the war and after that Dean Robert and Fletcher appeared. All the best and love Marjolein Povel
So wonderful to know you are doing well. To say you have been missed is an understatement. You have enriched so many lives and it looks like you are still doing so. May God bless you
So lovely to see Dean Robert again and to know that he and Fletcher are well. I’m visiting the garden congregation in October 2021 as I miss the live garden morning prayer so much. Dean Robert’s reflections and Fletcher’s photography are an essential part of my daily living. I hope the cats are well. God bless.
Your surprise gift of a new video yesterday brought sunshine to my morning! Thank you for sharing with us once again a portion of your lives in faith. I continue to watch nearly everyday the original Garden Congregation videos from your garden in the Deanery at Canterbury. I have learned so much from your Gospel readings and insights as well as commentaries on the birth and death anniversary dates of famous historical figures. The videos provide a wonderful class in religion, art and history every day. I know how much work they take for both of you, Dean Robert and Fletcher, to create but they are appreciated. I pray that you will find a way to continue reaching out to the Garden Congregation with more learning opportunities. Videos don’t need to be long nor do they need to be complex, just sharing your knowledge, insights, and loves. Thank you for your caring!
It's so wonderful to have the pleasure of entering into the visual beauty of yet another pilgrims progress from Canterbury to Santiago de Compostela with the blessing of Dean Willis and Fletcher with the visit of Casa Anglicana with Nancy a dear friend and opening up the blessing of rooms for pilgrims and tourists to be able to rest, and eat and venture forward with experiences of each ones own individual journey in whatever shape or form to many memories of the present day and days ahead at Santiago. This is an inviting film rekindling the great memories shared all over the world of the garden congregation at Canterbury with dear Dean Robert Willis and Fletcher. Please continue your journey with the voice of new beginnings and film footage to warm the soul.God bless
I am too old to visit the Casa Anglicana but thank you for leading us on a pilgrimage through St John’s Gospel. God bless you, Dean Robert and Fletcher and the Garden Congregation.
I am simply overjoyed to hear from Dean Robert and Fletcher once again. It's my dream to walk the Camino one day, God willing. I pray this is only the first in what will be the occasional video to keep the Garden Congregation in touch with Dean Robert and Fletcher.
What a joy to see and hear you again Dean Robert. Every blessing for this new venture to which God in his grace has directed you and Fletcher. I miss you and your 'lockdown ministry' more than I could ever adequately express. Thank you.
Hello Dean Robert and Fletcher, a delight and surprise to see you both in the beautiful surrounds - a look at Santiago - buildings so different ....and with an atmosphere of peace. Safe travel , best regards, Thank you! Cynthia, Adelaide
What a treat to see you (and Fletcher) again on my RUclips feed! I concur with every good thought and feeling expressed by the fellow members of the Garden Congregation!
Amazing to see and hear you again Reverend Robert. You are so missed every day 🙏🏼🤲🏻🤝🏻 I wish you and Fletcher good health and happiness on your new path in life 🙏🏼🤲🏻🤝🏻
It was so nice to see Dean Willis and know that Fletcher was near by. We have missed you both so much since your retirement and hope you are finding it fulfilling. We go back and watch the Garden Congregation Morning Prayers to this day. I hope we can see more of these short snippets of your travels and life and of course always are grateful for all the wonderful Morning Prayers you did and were and continue to be such a spiritual inspiration for our family.
We miss you, Dean Roberts and Fletcher. You saved so many our our lives during lockdown. You brought me home to my faith and I still rewatch as needed. I hope one day to see more of you both. Thank you for this!💓💓💓
Dear Dean Robert and Fletcher, bless you for bringing good news and sunshine into my rainy day in West Wales. Please pray for the election of a good shepherd for the Diocese of St Davids next weekend. Keeping you in my prayers, much love to you both, Christina 🫶
What a delightful and welcome treat to see you, Dean Robert and Fletcher too. Wish I was well enough to make the pilgrimage but I enjoyed the virtual tour. The Garden Congregation that I am still part of, will be forever thankful. At the end of your time at Canterbury, I mourned with the rest of the congregation but have continued, starting again at the beginning. I now watch on the correct day of the year, but two years later, and my mornings wouldn’t be right without that wonderful time spent with you two. The words of wisdom and the time you’ve obviously spent researching birthdates, years minds and other anniversaries are all so interesting and two years is long enough for me to forget the details! And I think I have to say a huge thank you to Fletcher for the camerawork, but also the staging of each precious day. The visual part of each presentation and the varied situations are still a joy to me. I love seeing all the animals and hearing the bells. They cheer up those of us who are unable to travel, and I miss you so much. All blessings to you both for all your hard work and generous gifts to us all. God bless you ❤ xxx
What a wonderful blessing to see and hear you Dean Robert! Thank you for the opportunity to see the work that is being done at Casa Anglicana.💕 I have missed the morning prayers so very much. Thank you Fletcher for all the work you do to make these videos 💕
From Ontario, Canada….what a pleasure to once again enjoy the talents and gifts of you both. Stay well, fingers crossed we can look forward to more videos that made such a difference in our lives during Covid, and now so missed.
What lovely surprise to receive the notification from the Garden Congregation. You & Fletcher have been on my mind the last few days, wondering what's going on... and here you are! 😊 So very good to see you! I'm pleased, but not surprised, that you are finding a way to serve by joining the Board of Directors at the Pilgrim Pension in Santiago! 👏👏
What a delight to watch, and FINALLY, I get to see what Fletcher looks like. I live in the north of England and now visit Canterbury once a year (that kicked in after watching the morning service from the beginning in March 2020-courtesy of BBC Radio who mentioned its existence). I am adding the center in Santiago to my visit list for next year. The Garden Congregation lives in my heart forever. Thank you.
This has been a true serendipity moment! The Peace of the place is palpable and a great blessing to me as I have feasted on the report. May God bless you both and your continuing world-wide ministry. 1:29

The first time I have seen Dean Robert in mufti! We studied a French town called Le Puy for CSE French in 1974. It was on the pilgrim route to "Saint Jacques de Compostella", which was the first time I learned about this particular pilgrimage.
It's really lovely to "meet" you again. What a lovely idea and a lovely place. This is a pilgrimage I would love to do, before I get too old. Thank you very much

Thank you both for uploading this video onto the Garden Congregation Channel. I saw it first from one of the Friends of Canterbury Cathedral in the US people on the Group page. Very interesting. Nice to get the correct info on you, Fletcher, on the Anglican Centre website after all this time! You really were a dark horse until Nancy Mead wrote a bit about you. Dean Robert, you are looking so well in retirement. If Tiger, Lilly and Leo are still about, please send us some current footage. God Bless you and take care ...
So wonderful to see you Dean Robert and to hear your voice which became so much part of every day. The Garden Congregation is still the way I begin every day. Thank you to you and Fletcher.
Starting in Nov 2020, Dean Robert did a month of daily Morning Prayer reflections on the Book of Revelation, which is, in this year 2023, the New Testament reading for Evensong starting yesterday, 6 Nov!
