Thanks for the hotel hack. I've already kissed 7 different people toes while they sleep👍
I am impresseede
All firefighters should have this knowledge so they can save lifes.
So many comments I want to argue with, but you're all saying the same thing.
"They're just showing criminals how to break into our homes." No, they're not.
1. These videos are about the least destructive ways to get past a door, not the quietest or fastest.
If a criminal wants to get in quickly he'd use a sledgehammer, if he wants to get in quietly he'll try doors and windows until he finds one that's unlocked.
If this thief has thought things through a lot then maybe he'll use something like bump keys.
2. He's showing how to use a hammer to break a lock just enough to bypass it. This isn't a new idea, and isn't particularly useful to burglars who don't care about damaging your door.
3. Even the stuff that's faster, quieter, and scarier than this should be public knowledge. A world where everybody knows how to break into a house is a world where everybody knows how to make their home secure.
4. Insisting that security flaws not be public knowledge is part of the reason there are so many ineffective designs to be taken advantage of in the first place. You need to know what the problems are before you can even begin to address them.
If I've convinced you that you should be learning about this stuff, then look up a channel called LockPickingLawyer, and don't leave your doors and windows unlocked all the time.
So no house and or apartments safe now?
These are the type of videos that should not go viral.
Thank you like why share this dangerous info to the potential crazy public
NEWSFLASH snowflakes: If someone has their mind made up that they want to get inside your house--- they're getting inside your house, period.
@@moniquegallegos4369 Stuff like this not being widely seen before is part of the reason there are so many poor designs to take advantage of.
The security flaws you've heard about (like picking bike locks with ballpoints) have been fixed because the company is shamed into fixing their design, but if the flaws aren't widely known then people will keep installing flawed products.
Second to that, this isn't the fastest, easiest, or quietest way to break into an apartment, it's the least destructive. Thieves who don't care about damaging your doors have a much better way.
I just hope the good people see this before the bad lol
don't worry, the bad people already knew about this.
Right
It's using a hammer to break open a door. Not exactly a new concept.
Even the stuff that's faster, quieter, and scarier should be public knowledge. A world where everybody knows how to break into a house is a world where everybody knows how to make their home secure.
The knowledge gap is where all the trouble begins.
Glad to see yall posting again, can you do one for the rotating stick bolt style next?
THANK YOU! Yes sir!
These kind of videos should not be going viral
@@CoastalFireTrainingLLC first, you shouldn’t have these types of videos because there are CREEPS out there with evil intentions. And the pun was intended for look who’s looking to want to know more about these tactics.
Why you wanna know? You CREEP!
To all you people complaining about this showing others how to rob houses, there’s much easier & quieter ways of entering, like through a window etc 🤣 If you think crime don’t know how to break into a house your fooling yourself!
Nice video, John. I've never seen a secondary deadbolt like that - very interesting! It doesn't seem like there is an easy way to beat that, at least not without using a bar!
Honestly, you might just try a tension wrench and a triple peak rake or possibly a bump key. It may not work, but when it does, it's way easier than what ya just demonstrated.
Nice vid !!
Tension tool and city rake. Get up to date.
You can’t use tension tool and city rake on a smart key lock! You need better eyes
I'm still looking for how this was a respectful manner of opening a door.
As an apartment maintenance person, I would MUCH rather have this done instead of fire/police kicking the door down.
It's a 5 minute fix as opposed to replacing the entire door/trim.
@@slmiller91 Thanks!
Ofc u are
@@slmiller91 no one cares in an emergency
@@moniquegallegos4369 I agree, but if it's for a warrant or non life threatening emergency it's appreciated to not completely destroy the door.
👍
What’s the point of this?
They sell a kwikset smart key T handle tool to simply turn the lock open. This is dumb, the lock is also missing the part they provide to make this exact technique harder. Bogus. -the locksmith.
_"Respectful"_ entry eh? Lulz.
Yeah Nice job to teach robbers and killers easy ways to enter homes
Why are you showing potential predators how to enter a private dwelling to commit their crimes so easily this is so annoying keep it to your private profession please we don’t need everyone knowing this kind of information.
He's showing how to loudly use a hammer to break a lock just enough to bypass it. This isn't a new idea, and isn't particularly useful to thieves who would either use a bigger hammer to break the lock immediately (the way to police do during raids) or would use bump keys or something similar to enter more quietly.
Even the stuff that's faster, quieter, and scarier than this should be public knowledge. A world where everybody knows how to break into a house is a world where everybody knows how to make their home secure.
"We don't need everyone knowing this kind of information" is called 'security through obscurity'. It's never worked, and is part of the reason there are so many ineffective designs to be taken advantage of in the first place.
If you want to look into this more, there's a good channel called LockPickingLawyer that shows flaws in products you'll want to avoid, although he mostly focusses on locks. There's also a guy called Deviant Ollam who tests security professionally, and also makes recommendations for products to avoid or cheap ways to improve your security.
There's already youtubers like the lockpick lawyer and various others showing how to pick locks and doors.
I remember having to break into my own house because I left my keys inside. It was a very sad situation.
All of these videos should be taken down. If you need firefighters to learn this, then put it on a private server, in your own system, NOT youtube.
Also, all of you saying that, oh you can hear the hammer, blah, blah, blah. 1. A lot of the elderly can't hear that well or at all, 2. Are you always home to hear it? The answer is NO. You could be at the store, or at work, on vacation, ect. So pull your heads out of your butts and use a bit of common sense people.
This channel needs to be reported! Not only to RUclips, but the FBI well. No man, woman and child is safe when criminally minded people learn this stuff. Shame on you trying to make money off a website and making it look like you’re an actual academy of fire science. A real fireman or locksmith won’t show off like this!

Bruh if you can't hear a hammer beating the shit out of your deadbolt you need to to robbed
@@maxhallman1036 Think it through before you say something like that. There are plenty of people like the elderly or deaf who wouldn't be able to hear that, and they certainly don't need to be robbed.
If you really want somebody to deserve being robbed, then you could say 'those who install such flawed locks need to be robbed', but even that seems too harsh. Thanks to the attitude of 'this information shouldn't be public' most people don't know anything about security, so they can't know they're using a bad lock.
@@joshuacollins385 I agree with you, and also, you arent always home. What are you going to hear the hammer hit your lock 5 miles away at work????
I don't think it's a good idea to show how professionals SAVE LIVES. this is endangering & enabling the bad the chance to get tips from pros. please consider hiding these videos, if they are for teaching reasons, only show to those in the firefighting academies. please, this is real dangerous
You can pull up a ton of these videos by searching up 'door entry' or something similar on youtube.
