yeah same, pretty sure acceleratle increases how far you get launched by a good bit
To make matters even worse, acceleratle also increases fall speed, which plays a part in how fast you fall when getting spiked with no tumble. If the fall speed is high enough (i.e. with Fox), you can actually die like this at LOWER knockback, because lower knockback tumble can have less speed than non-tumble spike. This is also made possible by the (dumb) rule that says the lower blast zone is higher if you are falling quickly enough.
I think Oomph also makes you slightly lighter and makes you take more damage

@@MasterSprintersan1 Any character that requires near perfect execution to do well at the top level, quite literally can't carry you. Hence why Riddles is still the best Kazuya and its not even close. The character is dirt without his 02d combos.

I low key wanted to see riddles and mark duke it out.. but that onin mark set was really good and nail biting as well. Hate on steve all you want but he does keep the game interesting. I cant wait for more potentially broken character tech to emerge.. Lets see what hurt does next with snake huh.
I'm happy that Shinymark won this Tourney since Blink Respawn 2023 (last major he won). I really need more stuff from Shinymark. It would be great see him in some europe major. Come on, we know he always can do interesting things that's why he's called the best pikachu in the world.
Otherwise I can't believe that Shadic doesn't defeated Onin in Losers Finals. Really surprised me because he recently defeated him in Collision 2024, maybe Onin finally learned the matchup...

I’m happy for Shinymark too! He needs to compete more. Also Shadic losing to Onin was kinda of surprising bc he 3-0d at bobc. I think Onin did adapt a lot but man, Shadic was playing tilted. You never want to do that against Steve

I really wish Riddles stopped playing smash so ya'll could see zero Kazuya's making it to top 8 at big tournaments. Hell, Riddles is barely doing that now but apparently he's carried. Kazuya requires near perfect execution to do well, the same can't be said for alot of top tiers.
