The lashes, even the singular lashes, that I see in western stores are always WAY too long/thick/dramatic. Anyone know what lashes are used in this video?
The makeup looks gorgeous, just don’t appreciate how they had to make her face several shades lighter just for her to look “pretty”. She was already gorgeous when she came in, I think using a foundation shade that actually matched her and then using a concealer to brighten would had created a more natural youthful look.
Do keep in mind that 99% of Korean makeup only comes in 3 shades. Ghost white, Snow White, acceptable white. I think just this year some brands started to carry shades that fits people that aren’t super light skinned.
Yes I wish they matched her skin tone rather than make her white like a ghost. Many Asian women not just Korean women want to look white like they did in the ancient past (wealthy girls etc) and it's the beauty standard. But times have changed and tan skin is actually better as it protects us from sunlight. There are fair women who look pretty but also tan and darker skin people who look beautiful.
I love how eyeliner is applies to Asian eyes. The super thin line with a tiny wing looks perfect. I wish I could wear mine like that. I have hooded eyes, but I have yet to perfect it. Even at 30yo lol.
You definitely can wear eyeliner like that too! I also have hooded eyes and dark/black wing eyeliner techniques never worked for me. Korean eye make up techniques work for me the best, I draw my eyeliner with brown eye shadow, super thin and downturned so my hooded eyelids don't hide my eyeliner 😊

Some people put on a darker color on their face, because their bodies are orange from self tan , so why not use a lighter one for a change. Most people these days are over contouring and look like a quilt in their face with different shades of browns, white and pink 😂😂 The worst part is the brown noses that make them look like a deer and the pink blush all the way up to their under eye and even next to the eyes.
